Flamers for a rhino squad?

Default Flamers for a rhino squad?

Im working on a squad of marines for a 1500pt list the squad goes as follows

10 marines
icon of nurgle
rhino
extra amour
champion
power weapon

and now the problem do i give them melta guns of flammers. The idea for this squad is for mobilty,some hard hitting fire power (as hard hitting as a squad of moving marines could be) and also to summon my greater demon. Obviously meltas will be better for tanks and flammers for light infintry but im worried about range on the flammers and rate of fire on the meltas. This squad doesnt have a set role eg tank hunting so what would be the best choice thanks for the help.

If it doesn't have a set role I would suggest Melta Guns. They will take down tanks, heavy infantry and although not many they will vapourise a few GEQ's pretty easily.
If you go for flamers you are making them almost a dedicated anti-infantry squad as there are few vehicles you can take down with them.
Otherwise you could always take both.

If you want a multi-purpose platform, I say go with Plasmaguns. They can kill infantry (Heavy ones) as easily as low-medium armoured vehicles (AV10-12).

plasmaguns were my first choice but i just dont have the points. But thanks for the help anyway guys I think Restayvien has a great point so im going to look into that.

If you have the points, a squad of 10 can have both a Meltagun, and a flamer

You could go flamer, melta and a melta bomb, all for the same amount as two melta's, although when you summon your GGD you loose the melta bomb, it does make the squad more tacticly flexable
