Default Campaign Army

hey guys ive been workin on a map campaign in which ill be playing Chaos and i wanted to know what you guys think about my army.....the basic rules are every army gets 5000 pts that have to be divided up into divisions and the force organization chart for the whole 5000 pts is 4 HQ, 8 elites, 15 troops, 8 fast attack, 8 heavy support.....i chose to go with 3 relitively even divisions and i decided to make each one a different book of chaos....heres my set up at the moment:

OK NOT BAD BUT HAVE FOR EACH LEGION A SPECIAL CHARACTER
AND HAVE A SOME LAND RAIDERS AND A GREATER DAEMON

abaddon, the caps lock isnt neccesary, i can read it perfectly fine...
and putting in a special character (which usually requires the opponents permission) may be good for a campaign fluff wise, i wouldnt exactly say their worth the point cost, and the same goes for the land raider.

i think these lists are very nice, looks like a fair amount of troops, and pretty balanced without each list. i likem,
and the way this campaign is set up, you picked the right army in my opinion... gives you alot of diversity.

the only advice i can give is, if you go down against Tau, i wouldnt use thousand sons or khorne (if he's mech).
you got a butt load of points in terminators in the thousand sons list, and i know the sheer amount of ap2-1 shots a good Tau player can put out, it just looks like a blaring point sink to me.
but if you go khorne, unless he plays static, he's going to run circles around you with his skimmers, and probably be redirecting your troops all over the board.

so go nurgle when facing Tau. they'll lose what awsome bonus they get from their pulse rifle, that 3+ to wound that every Tau player has come to know and love.

and for nec's is he taking a Monoloth or C'tan?

well i played the tau player last night with a modified 1250 version of my khorne and slaughtered him.....and i donno if the nec player is usin C'tan or a Monolith....why do you ask?

thanks for the advise....anyone else got somethin to say?

wow, i rarely hear of khorne beating Tau... was he static? either way, nice win, its always fun to wipe the floor with somebody every once in a while :-D

if he takes a C'tan or Monoloth, you kinda have to build a list around it, either to kill off his warrior A.S.A.P. to get the phase out, or blow up his huge point sink....
if hes not, id go khorne, because last i heard Nec's arent all that great at CC.... though i maybe be wrong, cause i havent charged any nec's with my Tau yet :-D
if he does takem, you need some hard hitting tank bustin stuff...

Some of the worst units you can recommend and please don't type in all caps.
As for the campaign armies the nurgle lord is way too many points and you should try to make your hqs cheap but effective because they are one unit not a squad as for the other hqs they are ok. I think you need more troops for most of your armies the thousand sons it is a must for having 3 heavies a defiler would be a good idea. hopes this helps.
