Default harpies - model use?

Hi guys!

I would have normally posted this in the slaaneshi board, but this would probably get more traffic here.

Anyways, as you are probably aware - i am a slaanesh player. And an all female one at that. Iv'e just about rounded 1000 points of and am looking to satisfy my hunger for models even more - i don't really care about army list composistion.

Now, a while back i was looking through the GW range and came across Dark elf harpies, and they fit the theme of my army perfectly. well, model wise that is. I had a quick discussion that quickly ended in the slaaneshi thread.

Put in a brutally simple way: what on earth can I use as harpies from the chaos codex??

My suggestions to myself:

MOUNTED DAEMONETTES: originally suggested by ged. The harpies would fit the idea of mounted daemonettes: fast agile and deadly, and armourless. Im just a bit worried about stretching the WYSIWYG rule a little too far: harpies are not mounted on anything, and don't look a bit like cavalry. Plus the base issue.

FURIES: this one was the perfect solution to me: harpies have wing, furies have wings. HArpies are naked, and in a way so are furies. Harpies have no weapons to speak of, nor do furies. The down side is the fact that they are an undivided daemon, and as Malveaux pointed out: they can't be summoned to my slaaneshi banners. Thats a problem. I can't change the marks on any of my units, and it would be unreasonable to modify my list to include a unit of marines for the purpose of summoning one unit.

POSSESSED: the wild card here. Obviosly stretching WYSIWYG to the absolute limits. And the fact that winged possesed do cost a fair bit...

THOSE WINGED KROOT MERCS: i can't remember if i can include them or not... but possibly? i mean the kroot rifle could represent a psychic power...

Im open to suggestions...

You could represent them as Raptors? Daemonic Flight, Daemonic Visage.

And if you wanted say a meltagun, plasmagun or a flamer, you could model balls of green stuff in a, or both hands to represent said weapons as psychic powers.

Plus Slaaneshi/Undivided armies can take them!

Yopu could use them in a LATD force as mutants with speed/leaping/winged

Default does anyone ever read these?

yes i could. But that means a complete over haul of my entire army list...

EDIT: it would be impossible to fit my current army into the LatD fitting: i have 4 squads of daemons, only three elite choices - tkae one as an allied troops choice. NO MORE TROOPS CHOICES! the harpies would fill one, leaving me with a second to fill. 15x mutans with daemonic speed is both costly points wise and on my pocket.

It's was a nice idea... but it would never work
