Default My first try at a chaos lord (nurgle)

Ur......

Well, this would be my first try on making a chaos lord of sorts. Here you go.

Chaos lord

Mark: Nurgle

Veteran skills: Infiltration

Daemonic gifts: Daemonic strenght
* * * * * * * * * * * Daemonic speed
* * * * * * * * * * * Daemonic essence
* * * * * * * * * * * Daemonic visage
* * * * * * * * * * * Manreaper
* * * * * * * * * * * Blight grenades

Wargear* * * * * :Spiky bits
* * * * * * * * * * ** Frag grenades
* * * * * * * * * * ** Bionics

Total points: 171 points

Well, this lord/prince (I don't really know the diffrence) is meant to be a very annoying and powerful assaulter. However, I am trying to keep him lean and mean as possible. I want him to be pretty cheap as well.

But I think there is still something about this that don't fit up.

C & C please.

I geared him in order to just cut through alot of infantry in one go. Seeing the stats of the Chaos lord and also the wargears and gifts bestowed upon him, the power weapon and the bolt pistol don't really appeal to me.

I would personally drop the Blight grenades, you said that you where going to assault the main infantry, and the manreaperproves it. As you are single handedly assaulting the masses (i think) then you will be higher in WS anyways.

Masses?

In a sense it is, but yet I will use him in tandem with the entire army and thus I believe he is sort of like a pivotal part of the army. He will be able to go in without backup or he will back up my other units, in addition to being backed up by the other plague marines. What a mix-up role huh?

Blight grenades are there so that provided the units have something like the voxcaster, I will minus their leadership down bad.

You do realise that blight grenades are -x to hit don't you?

But then again it would seriously boost his assaulting survival chances, as it would, technically, give him double your opponents weapon skill, for teh purposes of him hitting you. But that won't be much of a worry unless your fighting marines.

Whoops.That's daemonic visage. Sorry.:P

Alot of the games I played are often with these few forces

1.Marines

2.chaos

3.Eldar

4.IG

5.orks

6.tyranids

And the thing is that most of them are geared for CC, and the IGs here are famed to have a specialist CC unit. So I guess that the blights are here to stay..:P

verywell then... its your charachter ;D

How many of your units are given the mark of nurgle? as nurgles rot might be worthwhile against most of your opponents.
