I'll play Malveaux for a minute:
1) What god do you wish to follow if any? Do you want to play a book army or just generic marines? 2) Have you checked out World Bearers? They are the undivided cult of the codex. 3) Do you want mobility? Resilience? Raw attacks? Shooting? Psychic Powers? Numbers? Demons? 4)Chaos rules!

Chaos Champ:
Welcome aboard. As Shadowdeth asked the questions, the more answers you can give, the better the advice will be. So far, we know you want to play an Undivided army, with mostly marines and no tanks; though there is the possibility of Daemons. There are 4 Undivided Legions which may be of interest of you. Here's a thread to help you with that - Read it carefully and pay special attention to the Legions (ie: Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors, Night Lords and Word Bearers): Chaos Legions & Cults. Then let us know if one of these sparks your interest. If not, we'll continue on as normal. Remember - good answers from you will result in more help from us. -- Final note: Try to make your posts a little better. Nice sentences, full sentences, etc is greatly admired. There's even a handy spell check button right there under the posting box for your ease. I encourage you to use all those features ![]() Cheers!

Funnily enough i have just started with them as well (alpha legion) and i have started off with alot of troops infiltrating and that has been the best advise ive been given so i would advise that too.
Get another box of troops and a Lord or a lutenant but you might have to change the weapons on them (because the ones on them are a poor choice) and then some more heavy stuff like an oblitorator. ReApEr |

1 - Do you want to have lots of Marines? 2 - Do you want to include the Chaos Cultist option (ie: Hordes of weak infantry)? 3 - Do you want vehicles at all? 4 - Do you want mostly combat, or mostly shooting, or a hybrid? 5 - What kind of shooting do you want to do (you can mass dakka or mass penetration shots)? 6 - What size game do you plan on building too? Alpha Legion is a tactical nightmare for your opponent because if you infiltrate, you setup after he does. This is a huge advantage to you because you can setup all the perfect sweet shots for him on that first turn. You can bury him in Cultists and surgically rip through his heavy support with your marines, or you can just swamp him with marines and more plasma that he's ever seen in his life. Anyhow - tons to think about, so think carefully and we'll work up some list ideas for you. Cheers!

Just use the alpha legion sighn wich is the 3 headed green dragon as your undivided sighn.
Alpha legion dont have many demons because they are so far from the eye of terror but if you realy want to use deamons I suppose the best would be furies if you want somthing realy fast but you can not give them infiltrate, so if you want alot of infiltrating marines then dont take any demons because they wont get to the enemy as fast as a unit of marines would. 1 - The mark of undivided is a plain chaos mark. It's basically a "star" of spikes. You can see it all over the chaos codex and it's on the website as well. If you want your own alpha legion mark to paint though, it consists of lizard type heads because the alpha legion is heavily themed in fire breathing dragons. You can also make up your own symbol too. It's all up to you. 2 - That's great that you have cultists! They make for very cool and fluffy and fun alpha lists! Make more! ![]() 3 - If you want to use Daemons, remember that only the cultists may summon them (zero exceptions). That doesn't give you a lot of flexibility (which is why they don't really use daemons very often, but it's possible). For punch, I would recommend either (A) Furies because they're fast and can assault right away, (B) Daemonettes because they can really tear through the tough targets or (C)Flamers of Tzeentch mixed with Horrors to simply have a shooting daemon squad. Overall, I'd have to recommend Daemonettes though because they're so cheap and so worth it with their awesome attacks. 4 - Infiltrating hordes is fast. You're all up in their face. As for maneuvering, you simply infiltrate where you need to be and that's that. --- Imagine this: You have tons of cultists surrounding your opponent, infiltrated up close, and in cover. Behind them, there are elite veteran marine squads with lascannons in the distance, from all directions on the board with clear sight to the enemy. Tank hunters of all kinds. There are a few elite veteran teams with plasma guns near the cultists ready to burn down any big threat. First turn comes along and you literally eat through their tough key targets with tank hunting cannons, hose down their best infantry with plasma and then push forward with hordes of cultists who simply cannot be ignored lest they block their entire army from escaping. Cheers!
