Default Race / Enclave summary [Group Writing Project]

I thought it might be useful if we could compile what we have on each race... as such, I present the following table to be used:

Name: The name of your race.
Race: What species they are (most will be Human I imagine).
Homeworld: If they have a Homeworld, put it here.
Location: Whereabouts in the galaxy they are.
Size: How many planets, systems, etc. they have.
Strengths: What do you want to your race to be good at?
Weaknesses: What should they be bad at?
Special Tech: Something that your race has nobody else does... note, not everyone will have one.
Background: A Summary of your race's background, history, religion, galactic outlook, etc.

Fill it in, and PM the details.

[hr]

Name: The As'noth Enclave (aka: The Legionists)
Race: Human / Wrought (humanoid race).
Homeworld: As'noth, though the world may well be abandoned.
Location: Not yet confirmed... but within striking range of the Russian Federation Company.
Size: The As'noth control approximately a dozen systems, possibly more. Their main population is fleet-based, however, making their exact size extremely difficult to monitor; so far, at least nine different Necropoli have been confirmed as active.
Strengths: Ambush, Fear, Genocide, Planetary Assault, the Necropolis Class.
Weaknesses: Relatively slow, heavily reliant on Necropoli, fighting forces are generally poorly equipped and trained, ships are not built for Fleet engagements and so struggle without superior numbers.
Special Tech:
Slipstream Drive: Allows for extremely rapid travel into a targetted Link.
Background: The As'noth follow a religion known as Legionism. Led by Omnis, the Legionists perform the work of Sier'K.

The Legionist religion states that mankind's time has ended, and they must be purged to extinction to make way for their new spiritual form; the Wrought.

The Wrought are akin to ghouls in eyes of most; pale skinned and favouring the darkness, the Wrought conjour fear and loathing in humans, even most Legionists. They say, however, this is because Humans naturally see them as their replacement-species, and so instinctively fear them.

The As'noth fleets are adept at ambush, and will employ genocidal tactics to achieve their goal of the extinction of mankind. Those who will not convert to their faith will be slain; there is no place in the galaxy for the unbeliever.

Name: Dvetlor Enclave
Race: Human
Homeworld: Bismarck
Location: Neighboring the Jacobsfreiche.
Size: 50 planets
Strengths: Military, economy
Weaknesses: Diplomacy, research.
Special Tech: none. Best mercs though.
Background: They belive in a derivative of the Ancient Earth philosopy of Realpolitik, meaning they rely more on their military and any allies they have. Their fleets are frequently hired as mercentaries.

Name: Federation Navy
Race: Human
Homeworld: Deton
Location: Northern Galaxy, whereabouts of the old Empire.
Size: 35 city-size space stations, 1 naval fleet for each station
Strengths: Space Warfare
Weaknesses: Small, relatively weak ships, small population
Special Tech: Hyperspace Technology
Background: The Federation Navy is created from the remnants of the old Imperial Navy, trading empires, and mercenary fleets. They have highy advanced technology for space warfare, but lack the materials and population to produce the massive dreadnoughts that other races manage to churn out. In battle, they are a quick, darting, foe, constantly making hyperspace jumps to attack the enemy's weak point and never allowing the enemy to engage them in one spot with signifigant force. The Federation believes that the state of the inter-warring enclaves is dispicable, and will not hesitate to "purge" them, as well as being very xenophobic and wanting to put aliens "in their place." However, the simply lack the manpower to be as serious a threat to most enclaves and make battle only when they have the advantage.

Name: Jacobsfrieche Enclave
Race: Human
Homeworld: New Austrailia
Location: Far north, but not on the edge.
Size: Four rich main worlds, another twenty poor secondary planets, and fifteen more closely allied planets. 39 total, 24 actaully owned by them.
Strengths: Diplomacy, trade, exploration, economy
Weaknesses: Figting for themselves, losing, manpower.
Special Tech: None.
Background: A relativly recent rise has place it in the highest power circles within the main Encalves. It made its fortune off of trading. Despite the small size of their hegemonial domain, their tradeships can be seen the length and breadth of the Enclaves, sometimes operating alone, or sometimes in their own miniature fleets. The Enclave government only demands a ten-to-fifteen percent tax on the earnings of its captains, collected in a lump sum every decade. To insure that their traders do not go astray, five percent of every Jacobsfrieche tradeship's complement is heavily armed and armored "Enforcers" that protect against boarders and tax evasion. Though technically military police, they are, in practice, little more than mercenaries. These are among the highest paying mercenary jobs in the universe that are readily available, so the title of "Jacobsfrieche Enforcer" is much sought after.
Like nearly all of the Human Enclaves, they make extensive use of DevCorp arms and technology.

Name: Nailor Enclave "The Aspirants"
Race: Human. Again.
Homeworld: Teluc-Bayur
Location: The Passage terminus ends practically in the dead center of the Galaxy, main worlds are slightly east of the mid-Northwestern reaches.
Size: Forty main planets, another five at the Passage terminus.
Strengths: As of right now, just diplomacy (Passage control is a great baragining chip), but very soon, defense and trade also.
Weaknesses: Everything else.
Special Tech: Not a technology per se, but the Passage of Nailor is a Scape-tunnel acellerator that is both the fastest and the longest in the galaxy.
Background: Bitter towards much of the rest of the Human Enclaves for passing them by and beating up on them. They are slowly securing more and more control over their precious Passage, and are good friends to anyone that doesnt attack them. Too trusting, naieve, but fiece of provoked.

Name: Pejoritan Enclave. "The Chosen"
Race: Humans, a few alien slaves.
Homeworld: Pejo-ricel- "Land of God"
Location: Deep in the western reaches, cigar-shaped territory
Size: Almost 80 planets.
Strengths: Fanatical assaults, swarm attacks, numbers, fearlessness.
Weaknesses: Diplomacy, technology, preserving lives and territory.
Special Tech: The "Crashlander", essentialy a battleship-sized drop pod.
Background: Xenophobic in the extreme, they go through several pahses: the first being one of almost tranquil rebuilding, with missionaries sent to different enemy planets, and even trade and negotiations. usually comes after a great war, in which the teachings of their god Bentoreq is in precedence. Next is the phase or war, where tehy either send armies and fleets in all directions to kill non-belivers, or they concentrate all their might against a particularly hated foe, such as the As'noth or the Grug. Their tactcs have been described as akin to a swarm of locousts, they almost never hold onto a conqured planet during a crusade, instead defending it after it assault grinds to a halt. It seems that the purpose isnt to take over new territory for their Gods, but to slay as many non-belivers as possible. In this phase, worship of the High God, Rashnizek, is in precedence. The third phase may appear to be the first, but in actuality, it coud be this which is the most dangerour phase. Perinquel, the godess of patience and cunning, is the one mainly worshipped in this phase. Missionaires may be hiding an assortmet of spies, saboteurs and assains, trading vessels may contain Pejoritan stoways or terrorists, and another war is sure to be brewing. Most of the rest of that galaxy considers them insane in every sense of the word.

Name: The Silvenclaw.
Race: Human.
Homeworld: Silvenheim.
Location: The Southern reaches of the Galaxy
Size: The Silvenclaw currently control around 20 systems, and their territory is growing at a constant rate.
Strengths: Advanced Scape-engine technology, prototype energy weapons.
Weaknesses: Relatively weak ground forces, smaller Dreadnought class vessels than most other factions.
Special Tech: None so far.
Background: The Silvenclaw left the old human Empire just before its collapse in their Greatships. They journeyed for years in search of a planet that their ancient stories told about, and found it, buried deeply in the southern reaches of the galaxy. However, the Silvenclaw found something they were not expecting on this new world, the hostile Jun'aal.

The Silvenclaw feel that it is their duty to protect the rest of the galaxy from the Jun'aal threat, and so currently have little to no contact with most of the other human Enclaves, and are only engaged in trading mostly with the alien races that are in their immediate vicinity.

Name: Tynoctin Enclave
Race: All human.
Homeworld: Tynox, an ice world rich in computer-enhancing crystals
Location: Slightly north of the Nailor Enclave, Northwestern Reaches
Size: About 35 Core planets, 25 more scattered and isolated planets.
Strengths: Planning, science, ivestigation and experimentation.
Weaknesses: General combat, diplomacy (their seen a suspicious or arrogant)
Special Tech: No Enclave, or alien race that tades with the Enclaves, has nearly as good stealth technology as the Tynoctin.
Background: Antagonistic with DevCorp, firecely guarded Core worlds, better high-end technology. Seeks to push the boundaries of science and discover all that there is to discover.

Do we PM you the details, or post them here?

Add in Location and Contolled Space (like how many planets they have) maybe. I'll have my Enclaves up this afternoon.
