the 501st winter combat cadre ,is one of the few tau cadres that adapt to a cold enviroment.they are situated in the northeastern fringe on the ice world of paragis four.originaly trained trained for desert combat ,theyre fleet got stranded on an ice world for several months while undergoing an operation against an imperial research station,and they adapted to the conditions by building underground housing utilising the expertise of the few earthcaste onboared there small vesle to survive.when they were found,they were well adapted to cool climate and were renamed as the 501st winter combat cadre.they were also harbouring a large number of fully armed human soldiers,dressed in the cadre uniform brandishing a tau variant of theyre armour.this has stuck and the 501st holds human and vespid in high esteem as unlike the kroot they fight willingly for the greater good,without needing pay.

I read the first one...wow... you have the exact same color scheme as I do for my Gue'vasa (white armor, grey cloth.) Also, we have pretty much the same "army description" (specialize in snow, etc.) Cool!

gue`vesa saul redied his lasgun as the second wave of troops aproched. he ducked low in the trench as yet another explosive shell flew over his head,this time,hitting a devilfish.he watched helplessly as shas crawled out from beneath the wreckage, only to be shot by the heavy stubber mounted on the impereial research facility.once more the large titanium doors to the lab hold opened and released another horde of guardsmen,followed by a leman russ and two sentinels.Saul shot at the guardsmen as they raced toward the trench just infront of the facility.as soon as he saw the leman russ battle cannon grind to a halt in his direction,he lost all hope.He ran as fast as hes legs would take him , with the vague hope of not being shot at.saul ran until he fell to the ground,not in exaustion,but because he had been hit by a lasgun in the knee.he watched in pain as the blood trickled down his white uniforn and onto the snow.he was in so much pain that he forgot that he was lying in the open.using his lasgun as a lever, he pulled himself into the trench next to him.this time,he was lucky, very lucky.he slowlypulled himself onto a discarded ammo box.he pulled out the bandage from his medkit and wrapped it tightly around his knee.he tried to stand,he groaned and then sat back down,the sun on the icy planet was setting,the small amount of light there was slowly dissapeared.saul fell asleep.
