Default [APOCALYPSE] TAU SUPER-HEAVY VEHICLES

There are various vehicles described in tau fluff which GW has never bothered to produce rules for. I have tried to create rules for these, the Moray Assault Ship and the Mobula Destroyer (appears in the spanish 3rd ed. fluff, though with little description so I speculated).

The Moray Assault ship is described in Epic as providing the heavy punch in a flyer and being capable to hover like a skimmer.

Mobula Destroyer

Mobula Destroyers are equipped for rapid deployment of units to secure a contested strategic point and provide heavy fire support to the deployed units and when bringing in additional support vehicles would either be unfitting or unavailable. They are equipped for rapid deployment of troops via assault ramps and assisted jump packs for infantry allowing them to deploy as drop troops. Mobula Destroyers are also used in space combat, being capable to provide adequate firepower to attack enemy starships and even carry boarding parties to board enemy ships.

[td]Special Rules:

Tracer and Interceptor Missiles follow the same rules for firing them as Seeker Missiles, however Interceptor Missiles hit Flyers on a 3+

Well, rules are posted, waiting for the comments, remember the Mobula is pure speculation.

The title should read "Tau Super Heavy Flyer". Nearly choked when I read the title and thought "****ing Tau Noobs!"

Well, I left it like that in case I found out any other thing not being a flyer that missed rules. Like the Scorpionfish Super-Heavy Missile Gunship, which will get rules later on...

Any comments on the Moray or the Mobula?

I think you missed the tongue-in-cheek point I was trying to make with my sparse reply.

It's very likely to just be a translation error on the part of the Mobula. It was very likely meant to just be the Manta.

I'm guessing GW Spain just saw "ray" and since another unit entry was already named Devilfish (nickname of this particular Ray) they thought the two were similar. Could also have been a mistake in translation on that part and anyone searching up the Mobula then thinks Manta first.

you're probably right, but I still like what I came up with, even if it is due to a translation error, take the Mobula as being a house creation then, not fluff based.

I think people don't want/care to comment for the simple fact that they're not well known, if even canon to begin with.
