Default Imperator Titan datasheet (yes, you read right)

I came up with this one day during my Study Hall, and have since refined it. Then I joined these forums, saw the apocalypse section and said: "Hey, why not?" Now, I know that this is just an insanely huge model. to be scaled properly it would have to be at least 4 feet tall, it would cost hundreds of dollars, and be a pain to transport. But the sheet was fun to make, and who knows? One day I might actually build one.

So, I throw the "floor" open to debate, comment, question, or maybe even stunned silence or comments of "This is dumb."

Imperator. Titan. Datasheet. I think I did read it right, I don't see the datasheet anywhere, though. Forget something?

Something like that would be the actual Apocalypse army itself...

Sounds intrigueing. Let the bidding start at... 20,000 points? :P

Whoops, apparently the datasheet didn't attach right...probably because it was a .doc and only .txt can be attached...d'oh!

This will be remedied shortly. I did it in MS word, since pdf files are confusing to manipulate and my handwriting sucks...

Let's hope it attaches this time. *crosses fingers*

A few things...

The arm weapons should have the same minimum ranges as the carapace weapons. The Imperator Titan is not really built for attacking things at its feet. It either steps on them or relies on the garrison to take them out. The Defense Laser should not be able to target ground units at all, but that might be a point of abstraction that you can ignore.

Also, the Imperator Titan is actually a transport in addition to a main line unit. Those structures in its its legs are barracks for a sizeable contigent of Tech Guard.

The only other thing I would remove is the "Blessed Weapons" upgrade. Those weapons are fearsome (and protected) enough as it is. If there is no way to silence them, it really won't be much fun to play against this monster.

To be consistent with the Epic version, it should probably have between 8 to 12 Void Shields, and 15-20 Structure Points. It looks a little over-powered at the moment in terms of durability.

I agree, it's far too difficult to destroy. Even at 10,000 points, it would be rather difficult to create an army against this walker which would also be capable of dealing with anything else.

It's wrong. Not "wrong" as in it's an insane project, but wrong as in "Thinking your Land Raider can move 48" a turn is wrong".

For starters, it shows little reflection to the Epic model in terms of durability. Since Epic 40,000 (if not earlier), the Imperator has actually had less armour than the Warlord and Reaver. It's main defence is not armour plating, but Void Shields and sheer bulk!

As such, it should probably have Armour 13, not 14.

Off the top of my head I cannot recall the correct number of Structure Points and Void Shields, but your values are not likely to be right.

Also, there is no Transport capacity, despite the fact this is one of the major features of a real Imperator!

For god's sake, if you're going to make a unit that was considered massive by Epic standards, at least have the decency to do it right!
