Default Tau and strength D

This is just a question concerning appocalypse.
How can I get a strength D weapon for a Tau army? I can't find any weapons for Tau that are and not having a strength D weapon in an appocalypse game can/will make it harder to win.

Firstly, this should go in the Apocalypse board, not the hobby section- perhaps a mod would be willing to send it over?

As for the question: Allied imperial guard! Since the Tau don't get the str D stuff you want, bring some Imperial guard and call 'em gue'vesa. It's fluffy, you can make some neat conversions, you get a second army for normal games, and honestly, who wouldn't want a Baneblade?

Not yet. But Forge World is releasing a book of updated Datasheets for everything that Apocalypse ignored for some idiotic reason, and the rumor is that the Heavy Railguns on the Tiger Shark and the Manta are both bumping up to Strength D (and their submunitions are getting the larger template).

I added A captured defence laser for my tau army, just so that i could throw around a 10'' D template :P

ps. i run a tank-heavy army with an ''allied'' Imperial siege company.

Not that many units actually have Str D weapons.. so it's not so decisive. There are Titans mainly, and for the Tau, we have our big(ger) flyers.

And also, Baneblades don't have any Str D weapons.

Stormsword does, any Titan Killer weapons get "upgraded" to streangth D I believe.

The new white dwarf has a wonderful entry called the "something denial system" which is basicly a Railgun turret. it has a special rule where if two of these fire at a single target and hit, it becomes strength D.

Area Denial Node 175 pts
BS3 TL railgun. Sub shot gets re-roll to wound. AV 12 all around with 2 structure points. And if you get at least 2 nodes to hit a target, those and any subsequent shot form a node becomes Str D, but this only works with the solid shot.

TL Railgun? Twinlinked or is that Target Lock? If it's twinlinked, wouldn't that be a Swordfish?
