Default 10 Badass Gunfights

More videos! This list contains some seriously badass shoot-outs. As before this isn't the 'top 10', and they aren't in any order, but they are all badass, and I chose them myself.

Desperado Bar Fight

Antonio Banderas shooting a load of hombres in a bar.

Revolver: Sorter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FWwp8w22aM
One of my personal favorites, my old online name was Sorter. :P The Hitman decides that his fellow gangmembers are crossing the line and decides to turn the tables on them.

He doesn't take kindly to corrupt police officials sending SWAT teams to his appartment.

Equilibrium Final Fight Scene
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeHrq...eature=related
Preston and Dupont fight each other using 'Gun Kata', a fictional martial art that includes the use of firearms.
<img src=http://madogre.com/images/Cleric.jpg>

Wanted
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S-7O...eature=related
I have no idea why this kid is shooting everyone (scene was suggested to me) but he's pretty damn good at it.
<img src=http://modernyogi.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/wanted.jpg>

Collateral
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnIvLg5meN8
Vincent (Tom Cruise) goes clubbing.

Law Abiding Citizen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgT8D-e9fJM
Ok so this one is a bit of a cop-out. I thought of loads of great scenes but couldn't find them anywhere!

The Terminator

In case you forgot why Schwarzenegger is such a legend, here he is paying his compliments to the law.

I'm sorry but the gun fight that takes place at the bar in Unforgiven (1992) between William Munny and Little Bill and his posse is the single best gun fight in the history of film making and you didn't even mention it! :P

First of all:

...and secondly, I haven't seen that, or at least I don't remember seeing it. :P I'll check it out at some point though.

Oh come on, he said it wasn't a top ten list! :P By not saying these are the top 10 ever, he should be able to avoid the "why didn't you list X movie?!"

Your suggestion is prefect for the discussion too! Please add more!

My next suggestion would be Boondock Saints Through the Ceiling. Good thing they brought the ropes eh?

And Restayvien, you should watch Wanted in its entirety. I didn't like the look of the movie at first, but when you watch it everything makes sense. "This kid" who shoots everyone goes through one of the best drastic changes through the course of the movie. He starts out a complete and total sissy and becomes a badass. And by sissy, I mean something else, (damn word replacement software...)

I'm on the internet! The constant stream of information means that I don't have time to properly absorb information correctly before I react to it! :P

Seriously though, do yourself a favour and watch the entire movie from start to finish if you haven't already. It doesn't have a single impressive stunt or special effect going for it. It's just the climatic culmination of a really good film.

I didn't like Wanted much either and I sat all the way through it. To give credit when it's due the movie does include a fantastically choreographed running gun battle, which takes place in a factory towards the end of the filmbetween the main character and some very unlucky 'mooks'.

I think that's the one linked to above.

So out of the clips listed here, what are people's favorites?

Since I'm capped at the moment and it would take me the better half of 'far too long' to watch the scenes from the movies I haven't seen, I'll have to cop out and say the lobby scene from The Matrix.

You didn't even like it when he smashed the keyboard across that guy's face? Or when he went off on the fat girl?

As for best clip listed, it would have to be Lobby Scene. I am basing my opinion off of my first impression of the movie, before the sequals and before all the Matrix hype. This is a time when someone watched the movie they didn't know what the hell was going on. For those reasons the first matrix movie made one hell of an impact of cinnema history. The lobby scene was just too good. If you look online, most top ten gun fights end with the lobby scene as number 1 as well.

Though in all fairness, if the bank job from Heat (1995) was on the list, it would be close 2nd if not 1st.
