I think it could work, also, if we replace political debate with a cage fight, then it might garner more viewers and raise voting figures.

I don't think they're going far enough. I think Gordon Brown should kill a few people (not too many, around three or four would be about right) just to prove his macho image once and for all.

Here's an idea: What about a public vote, in which we get to vote for the most useless and annoying person in Britain - and whoever wins the vote gets bumped off by Gordon! They could call it 'Strictly Come Psycho' or something...
