I know its been out awhile, but it is/was awesome. I have to go buy it now.

I think it is everything good science fiction should be; a gripping, intelligent story blended perfectly into logical action sequences... as opposed to just "OMFG MUTHA-****IN LAZER EXPLOSIONS!"

I thought it was a unique action movie, pretty awesome effects, original storyline. The response was just a little bit overblown though... I enjoyed it, I didn't love it.

It was so ****ing boring. I couldn't bear to even finish it off. Had to turn it off halfway through, it was that boring. And I usually hate doing that, I can't stand not knowing how a story ends.

Dude, you are so missing out.
The payoff is in the last thirty or so minutes, and it is totally worth it.

We have done the impossible... and that makes us mighty.
Firefly is pretty much made of Awesome, Funny, and Aww. Sometimes simultaneously. We'd better stop before we quote the entire script.

Dreadsock time!

The movie is by far one of the best I have ever watched. The animation, top class, plot? Brilliant.
And I have a steelbook blu-ray edition. the box looks very good. I am very impressed with it.

Lol, yea you basically summed it up, although as said before Lazer explosions are always good . I just hate how Hollywood misrepresented South Africa, except I did hate some of the interview moments I thought there was just a feeling their were too many.

District 9 is awesome and anyone who doesn't think so is the Strange Child :

I bought the special edition DVD on the first day... granted, I just happened to be at JB Hi Fi that day, but still!

I saw it for the first time only a week ago - really good fun, I liked the doc style they sometimes used.
