Default Caprica

Well I know at least one certain mod watches it, but I am posting this poll to check out how many others do as well. The reason is that I am pretty much the only person in my entire 'warhammer' group at school that actually watches this or BSG for that matter. Therefore I was just checking whether my group is a bit irregular or whether it's not that popular with the 'warhammer' crowd.

I like that show, BSG too for that matter.

I'm loving it like a drowning man loves air.

If you couldn't tell from my profile....

Seriously, its amazing. Its so deep. The reason BSG was so good was because it raised the bar on "sensitive" issues like genocide, terrorism etc, and practically blurred everything to grey.

Caprica is taking this one step further.

Its not the fasted paced show, but my god, its brilliant. Suicide bombing, homosexuality and polygamy, and above all - what makes someone human.

At times, Zoe has seemed more human than the actual humans.

I'm really liking how Tamara is turning out as well - she's had a bit of a character twist.

Young Adama as well is awesome to see - the man who saved humanity began as a troubled kid hanging with Tauron organised crime.

Hell, all the frackin characters are just so deep - Sam, outwardly a criminal and a murderer, but with so much else to his character its hard to think of him as "bad" or "good"

Its brilliant, epic television.

I love Battlestar Galactica, but I'm not really into Caprica. I've seen all but the newest episode so far. It's too slow paced and dramatic for me to really get into, much like a lot of the BSG series, unfortunately.

Yeah but the point of if is that it isn't supposed to be fast paced or that "in your face." Caprica is a broken society that seems to be growing further away from ethics and more towards debouchery etc. hence the V-club. I do agree with Rafe that the characters have a whole new level in them in this series espicially being able to see the original characters when they were children.

It's epic.

Also, I am disappointed with the amount of people that haven't heard of it, I'm going to watch this week's episode again in 20mins (sky 2).

Caprica isn't meant to be fast paced....

The whole point is characterisation and story over action.

I don't watch TV to be bored though, hence why I don't think it is a good show. That's just me though!

Being bored and not having an explosion every five seconds are two different things :P
