I'm a biological conservationist from Australia (no, i don't know Steve Irwin, but I respect him) so my view on the domestic cat in general is considerably less favourable than most people...

Rofl. I can see where you get that idea. i have done the same Uni course as him, I know what his job is and the motives behind why he does it. It's funny, before I started it I thought 'you dumb bloody Aussie, a disgrace to the nation mate', but now i act like he does round animals... very scary when you're mates tell you that...

As for that cat 'care' book... has to be wrong, the way everything has a soft foam coating nowadays (censorship), that picture would have to be a mistake.

Hmmm, well it's in 'The British Vetinary Association Guide to Cat Care'. Lol.
The caption beneath the picture is:
"Pick it up by it's back legs and whirl it round and round so that centrifugal force drives out the water blocking the airways."
It's a crazy world.

It's obviously 'shopped.

Zoom in and rotate the pic 180 degrees.

Well, I suppose that would definitely help with the whole water problem. But I can't help but think of the complications with other effects. Hip displacement, broken limbs, vertabral dislocation, and the fact that the blasted moggy won't come near you after that treatment!

Hobbes: I suppose there's a lesson in that...
Calvin: Yeah, ants are morons.
