Default [Oxford Charity Run] Now With Costume Pics!

So I'm going to be running 3 miles in Oxford next month as part of 'SportRelief' and I am in need of some sponsors! I haven't decided if I'm going to be running in costume but I'm considering wearing one of these. ;D

Here is a link to my SportRelief webpage: http://www.mysportrelief.com/ricks3milerun

Suggested donation is 1.50 (50p per mile). The money goes to Comic Relief!

Thanks guys!
- Rezzy

P.s. Other suggestions for costumes have been...
Mario (with my friend as Luigi),
Pac Man (a'la Remi Gaillard) if I can find a suit,
Sumo Suit (running 3 miles might be intense),
Gorrila Suit,
The Gingerbread Man from Shrek,
Ali G,
and Jason Vorhees (hockey mask, plastic machete etc). More suggestions welcome!

I donated 2 UK Pounds. I demand that you run an additional 1 mile! Either that, be totally gay towards FT for the rest of year.

Lol! Thanks for the donation, I saw the name and wondered who it was.

Well my costume finally arrived. :P It's funny, but I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to run in it lol, it's bloody hot.

I didn't spent a huge amount of time making it fit properly yet, I just wanted to get an impression of what it looks like. ;D

Plus the Pred mask which fits over the face mask:

I need to ask:
What company is it from. Judging by the construction (EVA foam-esque armor over a polyester bodysuit with the printed netting on it, if I don't miss my guess) it's probably Rubies Costumes. It looks remarkably similar in style to their Master Chief costume and also their Star Wars Storm Trooper costumes.

Hah unfortunately the materials aren't what they seem. The armour plates (which I hoped would be solid foam blocks) are latex, and the netting isn't printed it's actually there. I bought it from Escapade.co.uk.

It's faily cool but dissappointingly low quality considering the price tag. The head is by far the best bit but even that isn't quite as good as it looked in the photos on their site. The face mask is very thin plastic and feels cheap but it looks good from a short distance.

Edit - coincidentally I just looked up rubies and found the same stuff on a different site:

The suit is 1 cheaper but the mask is about half the price so I get the feeling I got a bit of a raw deal. Ah well! :P
