Default What do ya do with the drunken salior?

<<Snip>>

Honestly, when you mate get's y'xa'uuk wasted of his own accord what do you do with him on a night out?

I ask this because I feel real bad after letting a close mate of mine walk home, then puke all over our door (we found that our later when we arrived home) and well, we should have never let him even come out.

This thread is about mates who have gotten drunk, and what you have done with them, when they got in that state.

At the moment my mate is ok, in bed and has had a glass of water, but he's still gonna hurt in the morning. I also appear to have picked up a drunken girl who's asleep in the other room...So yeah, for future reference, what do you do with drunks...Of both kinds?

Do you really expect serious answers on this forums? Here's a little flow chart of what you should do....

1 ) Is the girl do-able?
1a ) If yes, then get doing.
1b ) If no, then proceed to question 2.

2 ) Is the guy do-able?
2a ) If yes, then get doing.
2b ) If no, then proceed to question 3.

3 ) Are you sober?
3 a ) If yes, then get drinking...no sense being the odd man out. Besides, maybe that chick will look better after a few drinks.
3 b ) If no, then go to bed and hope that this was all a bad dream.

Cheers,
Em

I've always wondered Emlyn, how do you know when a guy is do-able? :P

You shave his balls with a rusty razor, shave his balls with a rusty razor....

But in all seriousness, you take the best care possible of your drunk friends, because when it's your turn, you don't want to be ****ed with.

Seriously.

Last night was a very messy night for many reasons. But the point is, is there an obligation to see a drunken mate home when he can't even walk two steps without falling over. In the sense that when is the limit to be the 'good friend' and look after somebody, rather than just be selfish for ones self and either have a good night or take advantage.

Of course there is the trouble of drunken impairment of yourself in that respect, for instance if you were as bad yourself it wouldn't matter much, but where is the line?

As said, if you were in his position, you don't want to be ****ed with. I think if he is a mate, not just an acquaintance, then yes, you should see him home.

Truthfully, well, you've been drunk before right? Have you ever imposed on anyone due to your drunkeness? I think it's just one of those things that happens.
