Did you want the Katakana/Hiragana for the translation of those words in Japanese or did you want the literal Katakana/Hiragana for those words in English?

EDIT: In lieu of a response, here's the Katakana for "Rice" and "Fried Chicken" respectively. If you want their Japanese equivalents then let me know and I'll see what I can do.

rice =???? (raisu)

fried chicken= ?????????(furaido chikin)

Google Translate.

And yeah, katakana is phonetical, not ideographical, meaning that combinations of symbols are used to make words, rather than unique symbols being used to represent ideas or concepts.

... Is it bad that when I looked at the title, I read Katanaka, which is the fictional holiday celebrated by the fictional McNinja family?

Kanji is the chinese character used by the japanese
Hirigana is a symbol that represent a full syllable eg Ta, single vowel I or the sound n used to write (pure) japanese word
Katakana a baser(used by commoner) form of hirigana initially, is now mostly used to write foreign word introduced in japanese language.
r?maji is the romanization (the use of roman alphabet) of the japanese language.

I know that.

I need the katakana because it is easier to freehand onto my minis than Kanji or hiragana (to an extent)
