Default Summer Project Log: A Steampunk/Inquisitor costume

Ok everyone, a bit new to the site, not new to forums. Semi-new to Steampunk(not the concept by a long shot, I've just been teetering on the edge for a while now, and got shoved over the edge recently). I've been looking into doing a costume for something for a while, so I decided to start with this.

Basis is going to be the Inquisitor Lorr model from Warhammer 40,000, a rare release from 2003. Not my model, friend of mine is finishing up the last touches on mine, but here's one for comparison:

Coat
Gloves
Gun to be converted, if I do not kit bash something instead
Possible Rapier if I add a sword
Whip to be added

Things I'm still working on figuring out what to get:
Boots
Pants
Vest type device
Goggles
A different mask

Things I have:
Hat
Shirt

Comments and suggestions are greatly welcome!
Note, I just copy-pasted this from the Brass Goggles, so I'll just be doing a joint log.

The hat I will be using:

Originally got it for an Indiana Jones costume I did, and I still have, mostly because it was a leather jacket, which I wear, khaki pants, which I wore, some boots, which I have somewhere, and this hat that I got at the western shop before it closed. Just have to remember what I did with the pants...

For boots you might try here. they have quite the selection of styles that would fit.
Goggles, well this site Has some quick and dirty costum goggle plans, but you might want something tougher. These are apparently reproduction of the Late 1800/Early 1900 travelling goggles. they also have all sorts of Victorian fashions for men so vests, pants, etc.

What are you doing this for?

I'm gonna be dressing as either a Commissar or a Titan Princeps for UK Games Day, and I may well end up nicking links that people post here ;D

On a totally non 40K dress up note, I just bought the most awesome hat imaginable, a massive red pimp hat with a huge green feather sticking out the top... I'm taking it into school tomorrow, it will be epic fun
