Default when an author possibly kills one of your favorite characters...

it will seem kind of childish, but I was brought to tears, and to some anger at the same time.

Mashashi Kishimoto has potentially killed a certain Hyuga! and made her confess her love at the same time! T'auk'cka! and finished her off...... (note: kishi has been shooting crippled cats in a barrel!

:sadnshocked:

how does something like a character you like get killed make you feel.

The thing is, he killed Jiraiya...acceptable. He killed (possibly, im still 50/50 on this) Kakashi...killed Narutos toad branch training family, killed HINATA! and finished her off with a blade!

He couldnt have killed Sakura? not even a thought? broke her in half? but no, he has to kill HINATA! hehe

getting carried away.

my missing sis finally came back today, and the ending of my day is seeing one of my favorite characters finished off like a stuck pig.

im peeved...let it be known :'(

Hey, if the author can't kill characters in a way that you find not heartbreaking, then:

1. You do not appreciate fine literature

2. The Author needs to come up with better ways for his characters to die.

It seems like this is a case fo both right here. If you want somewhere where there is neither, read James Clavelle's Gai-Jin

I appreciate fine literature...but I hardly think Naruto qualifies as fine literature ;D.

If a main character like V dies, he did so for a very good reason. He was portrayed finally closing his story on his revenge.

William Wallace doesnt turn to a coward and beg for his reprieve hes cut open like a fish, and decapitated.

Your second bullet point is correct. The enviornment that Naruto has been lately is the realization of Narutos ties from the beginning of the story. Everyone and everything he has loved has been taken away from him practically, but....this latest killing was forced...out of place...despite the confession we have all wanted to hear.

Naru/hina fans are lagging one manga atm. Its a mess.

The only time that this has happened to me that I can remember off the top of my head would be during Serenity, when one of the main characters died immediately after he stopped being useful for anything else. I wouldn't go so far as to say that I was angered by it, but it was a sticking point in an otherwise very smooth movie that the death felt so contrived due to the timing.

You guys also might want to start using the spoiler tag for this thread.

possibly. but then again Kishi did a high number of "deaths" in the rescue Sasuke arc, so will wait and see.

and ill agree what was up with that death near the end of Serenity....? talk about out of the blue.
