Default steck's trip to germany [blog type thingy]

im going to germany this summer with my school. i just got my itinerary, and while its not definite yet it should be close, its a 21 day trip. anyone suggest anywhere to go (you have to see this) and if anyone has a gaming club in Vreden during the family stay let me know and i will see if i will be able to stop by for a game or something (my commies go to germany :P)

here is where i will be
june 15th -- go to Munchen from the US
june 16th -- show up in Munchen probably, sightseeing stuff
june 17th -- leave munchen
june 18th -- it says we should be in salzburg i think
19/20th -- Garmish-Partenkirchen
june 21st -- rothenburg ob der Tauber
22/23rd -- erfurt
24th -- start the family stay in vreden
29th -- still family stay but it looks like some sort of trip
july 1st -- end of family stay, looks like we are on the road agian (just cant wait to get back on the road agian...)
july 2/3rd -- koln
july 4th -- mainz (look up pictures of ppl doing stupid things with fireworks and wish i could melt armymen:P)
july 4th -- frankfurt and going home

also we might be going into the swiss side of the boarder but not sure and it would olny be for a bit.

this is preliminary, it might change a bit depending on what the company dose and such!

to all mods, this was approved by Rafe, i can send you the PMs if you want

You do realise that Salzburg is in Austria, right? You'll be in my country, then... watch out...

Vreden is quite a bit north of me.

Heidelburg is one of the best castles, be sure to see that.

update: the scedule is set in stone (or something like that) with no changes. we will be going with a group from Minnesota. a question i have is, anyone know of a wargaming group where the family stay will be (vreden)? i am thinking of bringing a small force so i can try and get a game in sometime.

Don't know anyone that far north, but you can try to find your nearest large city and find a GW store, you can usually always find a game there.
