Default I can drive a stick

*does a happy dance* I can drive a sti-ick! I can drive a sti-ick!

Seriously though, these past few days I've gotten so used to manual transmission that any car without a clutch pedal just seems archaic and backwards to me. I now look at Automatic transmission kind of like I look at Apple computers. I'm glad I can finally drive cars as they were meant to be driven, instead of having control taken from me by some computer.

Unfortunately, I live in a country where two thirds of the POP can't drive a stick. But now, I can count myself among the one third that can ;D

COOOOOOOOOOOOOPER!

I love driving manual or stick. When I drive an auto i always seem to depress my left (Right hand drive in Australia) foot when breaking to put the clutch in :P

In teh UK, if you pass your test on manual, you good to go, but if you pass on an auto you aren't allowed to use manual, at least it was when I did my test.

Course, I'm happy with manual, you get so much more control out of your car

eh, been driving manusame as in oz, man...well, sorta. you get your provisional license and then if you got it in an auto, can't drive manual til you get your full

as for me...i've never been able to drive a stick. no accelaration. and lets be honest, they handle like shit. in fact, i have enough trouble simply sitting on one...

i can drive a car with a manual gear-box...quite well. years of practice and driving on average 90 k's a day will do that for you...

Well, the driving tests here requires that I drive a stick first before I can go wih anything else. After that, I went auto. I am never good with a stick to begin with, and now with auto, I am so much better off.
