Im sure some of you know that I announced my goal to create a business some odd months ago, I am happy to report I did just that.

After weeks of research, some paperwork, and a bit of leg work I managed to create something that stands for what I like in life. A little place where people can get manga, anime, figurines and other cool little stuff.

As my first day is here, I hope there is more to come.

The first year is getting your foot in the door, the rest are surviving. im finding advertising alone wont do it for you.

ive even contacted some newspapers hopefully interested in a spotlight piece. I have ebay auctions going for cheap advertising (30-80 views on average for a .35-.55 listing with popular items)

I'd speak to TO about advertising, depending on your exact location it could gain you a few customers if he doesn't mind. I wish there was a store like yours near me!

I had to wait two months on processing. You could imagine how many identifying pieces of documents are needed.

My registered agent was taking too long and I ended up saving myself two weeks by finishing the rest myself (just do it yourself, its cheaper FYI!) as for Tau online I have spoken with him, but the past few days I wonder if something at home has kept him busy (had a front page announcement for a tau online discount)

I get that alot. Seems to happen when I shave. But I guess thats a blessing.

As for the transactions services I am working with this for now due to its easy use, and harder to compromise protection. Credit card transactions I need to study carefully because of external threats in this day and age.

(you could even hook a credit card up to a paypal account if wanted.)

Paypal is free to sign up for, and can be really handy for small transactions now and then, and they cover you with a 1000.00 liability coverage.
