Default Lunar eclipse 2008

It's going to occur 10pm US time tonight.

Or for us Brits between 2am and 4am tonight. I must admit it should be good, but the cloud cover where I am is rather heavy, but not too much.

Just informing people if they'd forgotten,
Genmotty

Gah...I just looked outside, but here in England we seem to have a whole pile of cloud in the way. Dammit. Thanks for pointing this out - I'll try looking later.

Best place to see this one will be North and South America. Should be starting in about an hour and be into the full eclipse in a hour and a half from the time of this posting. So far, clear skies out there. Here's hoping.

Wish it wasn't so cold here. Only get outside to view the eclipse in little bursts. At this point the moon is starting to move out of the shadow. it's these inbetween times I think are the best rather than when the eclipse is full on.
