Default The funniest screw up in BBC history?

This is a very old clip (about two years ago). This poor taxi driver was sitting in the waiting room awaiting his fare for a Mr Guy Kewney. When his clients name was called out he raised his hands expecting to be paid for his services. Instead he was ushered into a studio and grilled by a BBC consumer affairs correspondant as Guy Kewney.

To give the man his dues he did pretty well in the interview all things considered.

Oh my... his expression as he was introduced was priceless.

Great deal of credit to him, though, given that he managed to give semi-comprehensible answers to questions waaaay out of his field of expertise.

You can notice after the first minute that the BBC has realised it's mistake, as has the women interviewing him. She continuously says "erm" and "urr,"a clear sign that she's messed up and she wants out as quick as the poor guy she's been interviewing.

I've seen this cock-up on "Have I got news for you" and "Mock the Week." His reaction after she reads out the 'actual' interviewees name and job is just priceless! :funny:
