as i was wondering which forum i would put this in.....ahhh. the enclave!
does any one else do/like any thing medieaval related?
(fantasy doesnt count either)

I built a miniature catapult once. Could fire dice from my porch accross the street.

Hmm.... well... I used to. I actually made a catapult that could fire almost 100 yards with only a bunjee cord, some planks, nails, a saw, and a hammer. I do some fencing (not really medieval but whatever), and I used to base most of my lego creations on them. Age of Empires is a great game... hmm.... that's all I can think of...

All mine was was a couple of nails, a shoelace, a length of wood and a tiny cup to load the projectile into

Hehe. How long did it take you? I timed myself (I had a friend help me too), and it took me around 4 hours.

Not very long at all. All I did was hammer the nails into the board, tie the shoelace around them and wind it up until it was nice in sproingy. The funniest thing was while we we're test-firing it, the arm broke, flew off and hit one guy squad in the D'yi
