Default Spammy Threads

Recently...err...no, not quite recently, the Enclave has been bombarded with non-serious game-threads and some pointless topics with a slight variation (such as the vending machine, blame game, etc).

I honestly don't want to go ahead and start deleting/locking all of these threads. Popular opinion does matter!....a little bit :P

Im leaving for one week tomorrow (at least). So that is all the time you have to discuss this issue. pretty much name a thread you think is kinda' really spammy that you think would be better off gone to make more space in the Enclave.

And Elfy will be watching this topic to make sure that it doesn't get pushed down to the next page too quickly. (right Elfy?)

In that case, so is sex. Therefore, pornstars and prostitutes are professional athletes.

I think, as I posted in the C&S board, we should make a childboard and/or seperate forum for the game threads and such. I don't want to get rid of them, but they're clogging up the enclave! :-\

How do you clog up a board with spam thats made for spam?

Yup that means spam unless you guys want to make thousands of small indvidual child-boards, which is fine with me...

Yeah, that makes no sense to me whatsoever. I got my thread locked and the whole "omg spammer" treatment too, but I was under the impression that this forum was made specifically for spam? Hell, none of our posts here actually affect our post count, why does anyone care? So long as people aren't posting porn or viruses, I don't see what the big deal is.

Does this say 'this board is for spam'? If that's how you read it, please see your optometrist. This board is for anything not realated to 40k, such as trips, personal issues, oppinions and issues not important enough for SD&D, and the like.

I've seen boards with a fraction of TO's population have a childboard for game threads; why shouldn't we do the same, so remotely usefull and interesting topics can stay around for more than six hours :?

Spam boards usually don't raise your post count, that's how it's been on every board I've ever been on. If the topics in here are still to be taken seriously (though not as serious as SD&D), then why shouldn't they raise your post count? It doesn't make any sense to me, unless the forum was created FOR the game threads which are now being called "spam".

We have a stickied topic for spam, you could post there.

so what your saying is that oven cleaner can remove paint from plastic models? and after that, you take a toothbrush to your plastic model, and the paint just comes off?

This is NOT a spam board.
Spam is pointless talk. This board is for things NOT RELATED TO 40K, which isn't necessarily spam.
