[Crisis 541]

Well I just got back from my Regions swim meet, which if you don't know is where the entire region comes and swims about twenty thrity minutes each person and skip school hanging out. Well needless to say I came to brag about my brillance.

First event I had was the 100 Free Style. This I drop 4 seconds from my time to a 1:00.6. Which is pretty good for a slightly heavy kid.

Second I had a 500 Free Style (20 lengths of the pool) in which I droped 13 seconds from my original time of 6:28 to 6:15.86. I won the heat as well after my gogles fell off, me putting them back on, and only seeing out of one eye, oh yeah and missing a turn which is really bad in any race.

Good job, we may end up racing in nationals.

Sounds like a tough race, glad to see you pulled. Only having one eye open can really mess with your turns.

Did you hit your head on the side of the pool... I hate when that happens. Or scraping your back doiing a turn...

I used to be on a swim team... way back in Middle School.

Dude, I hate doing the 500... it was the first event I ever did as a freshman and I vow never to do it again... Our regionals aren't until march and we don't get to skip school (they're on a saturday)...

I despise doing freestyle, I suck at it... My events are the 200 IM (my choice was this or the 100 fly, and I am NOT doing that) and the 100 breast stroke

You don't like the 100 fly? Why not, its not hard or anything...

Sarcasm aside, I used to swim with USA swimming, where they had the 200 fly as an event. Swam it twice. I'm just glad highschools pass on that particular type of torture.
