The nid job looks messy, but it works.

I thought it was a Daemonic tomato... :-X
I like the explosion though. Overall a good effort, and you can only get better with time

Maybe I'm just perverted but the bomb sort of looked like...
*giggles* um, testicles. That glow. And ditto on the cartoonish 'nid, did you look at a gaunt miniature when you made it? Also, do you know how to do forshortening? It's pretty hard for begginers so if you don't trust yourself I'd personally go with a sideways view of a guant head with sword through it. And you'll definitely got better with time, considering your old GIF's, those were alright but the work you do these days is far better. |

I see what you mean....
The head looks cartoonish, I see... I didn't have any gaunt's on me, so I had to do it from memory. Did anyone notice the NMM on the sword and eagle? That and the 'shroom cloud, I'm really proud of. Quote:
I don't know what forshortening is... please, enlighten me! I do notice myself improving... most of my painting skills are learnt by trying techniques on the ol' CPU. Thanks all! Stankov

Using a Gaunt's head as an example, foreshortening is where you draw the eyes, mouth, etc. smaller in the foreground, and make it progressively larger as you move to the back. Its kinda hard... I know can't do it very well.
Oh, and welcome back. |

Oh! So as to create the illusion the object is 3-D?
But then again, that goes against the laws of vision... things shrink the farther away they are... I don't exactly follow the logic... I'm quite new to all these terms and practices... Stankov PS: Good to be back!
