Default King Kong the movie

I don't know how many of you guys saw King Kong but it was awesome! I watched the oringinal not to long ago to jog my memory on it and thought the oringinal was cheesy and stupid ( branchiosaurs eating humans does not make sence). Then I saw Peter Jackson's version of it last friday and he basically made everything better about the movie from, the graphics, the characters, the story, and
the acting by forty times. Aside from some corny love scenes the movie deserves at least an 8.5 out of 10 or better. Did any of you guys see it?

I saw it. Nice movie, but did they really have flashlights 1929-193? (whenever the movie happened)?

I donīt think batteries like todays existed back then, but could be wrong.

It made me so sad. It was a love fated to fail.

It might be a little frightening for little children in spots, like the bugs scene even gave me a few goosebumps. Ten to twelve year olds maby but eight years is a little iffy.

I thought the movie was farking BRILLIANT. The giant bugs had me squirming all over the place. and the meat-weasels! (those leeches of doom) D*MN but those were scary! Yah, I don't reccomend it for kids because A) the meat-weasel bit and also its 3 hours long; god knows I didn't have the bladder capacity for such a long movie at that age.

...But the real question is. Is King Kong a racist movie? Some like to think so. Some people are also incredibly desperate for attention.

http://www.ejumpcut.org/archive/onli.../KingKong.html

Is "Historicity" a word?

If the movie's three hours long I'm waiting till it comes out on DVD.

Id say that the graphics have improved 100x. A puppet in black in white, to great special effects from a computer. ;D
