Default 1750 Mech Eldar Tournament list

Hello Everybody

Latter this month I'm going into a tournament and I'm a bit stuck on what to take. I usually use a foot slogging hybrid kind of list but I've had a few test games with my firends, who all love to rhino rush. After continually getting beaten by this strategy I'm thinking I might go for a mechanized Eldar list.

Before I go out and spend the big bucks (which have been hard earned working over Christmas) I would really appreciate some guidance from my fellow Farseers, Autarchs, and Phenonix lords(?).

This is the list so far

I am thinking I might add a Vyper to fill the last 60 pts? What do you think? Is this list hot or not?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I would probably give the Wave Serpents vectored engiens, because loseing the whole squad to an imobilized result is nasty. I personaly like to load upo the Farseers with multiple powers, just to make it more of a target. But there is nothing wrong with getting a vyper. But just ask yourself, "What can't this list kill? Do I need more anti-hoard stuff? Or some more anti-vehicle guns?" It helps alot, really.

Are they really necessary with the new rules though?

Unless you plan on moving over 12", don't bpther with vectored engines. If you take vectored engines, take star engines and spirit stones, and that gets expensive...

Your banshees boost them to 10, and only take acrobatic... Warshout just doesnt cut it IMHO....

In tournaments I like to take runes of warding...it sows doom lash/warp time princes, and scares many Nid players too...

Your avengers could use a power, defend is very hand when charged, and bladestorm is always fun.... Id proably take defend, run the farseer with them (on foot) and take a diresword pistol combo. That way they get a huge amount of atacks, wit rerolls to wound. Or take a shimmershield powerweapon combination with fortune and doom for a good tarpit unit...

Oh sorry I forgot to put down the Avengers have bladestorm. Does TO think that Mech Eldar is still a viable tactic? And should I swap out the walkers for a fire prism?

My current Mech list is 4/5 wins against twin-warp time daemon princes and pure khorne lists...

O RLY?

Care to share?

Those dam time warp Daemon lists. Especially when their backed up by a gun line of 30 1k sons. It really doesn't make s-s-s-s-sense.

Thousand sons are useless against Wraithlords, and aren't great against avatars. Try them...

I've used a avatar against 1k sons before. Thats the problem really. Since 5th ed I've employed a footslogging list but the obvious problem with that is that I get shot to bits b battle cannons and rhino rushing marines. Plus tactically I've had a lot of trouble grasping the tactics of foot slogging eldar.

Thats why I'm thinking of running a more mechanized eldar list.
