This weekend I will be fighting Space-cheese and orks in a campaign consisting of a number of 1000 point games. So I am trying to create a list that will stand a chance against both armies.

HQ:
1 Doomseer

Troops:

9 Dark Avengers
1 DA Exarch \Bladestorm + twin shurikat
1 WaveSerpent \Shruiken Canon + Twin Shuriken Cannon


6 Guardian Jetbikes w/2 Shruki cannon

5 Pathfinders

Fast Attack:
3 Shining Spears
1 Shining Exarch w\Star lance and shuriken cannon

4 Warp Spiders
1 Warp Exarch w\twin spinner + powerblades

Heavy:
Warwalker w\2 Eldar Missillauncher

~1000 points.


The tactics in the above list are simple.

1. Pathfinders are dropped on any objective in cover with orders to hold it, and provide harrasment/MC fire.
2. The Doomseer joins the Dark Avengers in the wave Serpent, with orders to deliver devastating volleys of dakka.against infantry.
3. Warp Spiders and Shining Spears are to outflank and go for the rear of the army (devstator squads, artillery etc.)
4. Jetbikes support the DA’s in laying down dakka maximizing the utilization of Doom, but only when it is relatively save. Their primary objective is to stay alive until the endgame to claim objectives/deny victory points. For that reason I am considering splitting them I two groups… however a group of 6 has previously proved very effective.
5. Finally The Warwalker is to provide cheap long range firesupport. It is fitted with EML’s so it can deliver dakka, but at the same time double as a secondary tankhunter-unit should the Shining Spears fail’


Any suggestions on how to improve the army, is very welcome? I know the squads are quite small, but the battlefield is full of obstacles that can provide LOS for small units – something I will try to use, by letting two small units work together instead of one big unit.
