Well, here is one of my list plans. It's hardly my firs, but it's somting different and I want advice before I take it to the table. I like to plan out an escalating list. which means that Part 1 is meant for Combat Patrol, while Parts 2 and 3 can be added to make 1000/ 1500 lists. Part 4 is the last section to be added.
Part 1 Troops 76 3 Guardian Jet-bikes 1 with SC 76 3 Guardian Jet-bikes 1 with SC Fast Attack 197 7 Warp Spiders Exarch, both powers, Power Blades, and Spinneret Rifle 132 5 Warp Spiders Exarch, Surprise Assault, and Dual Spinners This list is designed for blinding speed. The Jet bikes are for scoring units, and sniping, but the Warp spiders are there to provide real fire support. With str 6, I shouldn't have any real problem glancing Vehicles in combat patrol, which we play at 500 pts. Part 2 HQ 100 Autarch: Reaper Launcher, and Scorpion Chainsaw Troops 76 3 Jet bikes 1 with SC Fast Attack 132 5 Swooping Hawks Exarch, Skyleap Heavy Support 197 5 Dark Reapers Exach, Crack Shot This part brings one static element into play, the Dark reapers. The idea of this list is to run many deep striking elements, and use the autarch to get them early. The Swooping Hawks will be serving as my emergency AT, but other than that are meant to drop death from above. Part 3 HQ 120 Autarch: Wap jump gen, and Scorpion Chainsaw, Fusion Gun, mandi blasters Troops 76 Jetbikes Heavy Support 125 Wave Serpent, for reapers Shuriken Cannon Hull and turret. Star Engines 20 Tempest Launcher, for reapers 160 Fire Prism Holo-field, stones Well, this is the return to an all Mech List. The idea of putting the Dark reapers in a serpent is to get them into extremly hard cover, then beat on anyone who tries to pull them out. With Deep strike and reserves at 2+ I shouldn't have to ever worry about escalation. Part 4 Elites 108 7 Fire Dragons 150 Wave Serpent EML, Vectored Engines, Spirit Stones Heavy Support 160 Fire Prism So that's the idea, what do you think? I play Guard, Black Templar, Dark Eldar, both Chaos armies and Tau regularly.

The Reapers are, in my humble opinion, too slow for the rest of your army. They are the only Eldar unit that can't move and fire, so they ill be singled out while the rest of your Spiders and Jetbikes and Hawks are zooming around as an a mobile strike force. Reapers go well with a more fire-base army unit, Support Plats, Guardians, Fortune/Guide seer, etc. If you want blinding speed I would suggest not taking the reapers, but instead, maybe a wave serpent full of bladestorming avengers or fire dragons. That could keep up with your flow a lot better. Those Reapers are a huge chunk of points that will be abandoned by the rest of your army and easy obvious targets once the rest of your fast strike force gets moving.
