having looked over my previous ideas, i have changed my previous list.
i have dropped a falcon ( ![]() this is the new list: HQ - Farseer - 193pts - jetbike - Singing spear - Spirit Stones - Runes of warding - runes of witnessing (i had points spare - i will consider dropping these for a fusion gun on the autarch) - Fortune psychic power - Doom psychic power HQ - Autarch - 160pts - Jetbike - mandiblasters - laser lance - reaper launcher Elites - 6 fire dragons - 96pts Elites - 6 harlequins - 178pts - shadowseer - 5 harlequins' Kiss - Troope master with power weapon Troops - 3 guardian Jetbikes - 76pts - shuriken cannon Troops - 3 guardian Jetbikes - 76pts - shuriken cannon Fast attack - 4 Shining Spears - 187pts - exarch - star lance - hit and run - skilled riders Fast attack - Vyper - 80pts - scatter laser - shuriken cannon - spirit stones Fast attack - Vyper - 80pts - scatter laser - shuriken cannon - spirit stones Heavy Suport - Falcon Grav Tank - 185pts - shuriken cannon - holo-fields - vectored engines - spirit stones Heavy Suport - Falcon Grav Tank - 185pts - shuriken cannon - holo-fields - vectored engines - spirit stones total - 1496pts (or 1486 if i dont bother with the runes of witnessing on the farseer) general thoughts: 1) the autarch MIGHT travel around with the singing spears. his current role though is to sniper marine combat squads to below scoring and generally pester MEQ lists. 2) i refuse to drop anything other than runes of witnessing on my farseer - she has worked VERY WELL for me in that configuration in the past. 3) this is my basic role/strategy for each squad: Farseer - selects a unit i dont like, dooms them, selects a unit i do like, fortunes them :P. she has been known to suicide charge defilers and such if there is nothing else around and i need to deal with them (str 9 is VERY handy ![]() Autarch (explained in (1)) fire dragons - land raider huggers. if there are no heavy tanks around (from predator upwards), they go TEQ hunting. might purchase a bare exarch for the +1BS harlequins - for simply messing up any unit that threatens my battleplan (such as MC's with multi-shot weapons, autocannon squads etc) jetbikes - anti-horde in a pinch but mainly for objective contesting/claiming vypers - serious anti-horde!!! falcons - we all know (though if they can shoot in any given turn, they will be gunning for armour) ![]() |

what is it with people minimising on troops. 1 of your hqs is more expensive than your entire troops! troops are supposed to make up 60% of your army, hence 6 slots. please take some more troop choices. guardians (as much as i hate them) do reasonably well. they are in bigger squads, have a heavy weapon option and are cheap. it takes longer to kill 6 guardians than 2 jetbikes. plus they get overlooked. please take more in your troop choice slots!

I'm not saying the list didn't look good or anything, and i wasn't abusing (sorry if it seemed that way) but for your troops an idea is just take a heap of jetbikes. If you are going windrider go with a heap of jetbikes. your list is fluffy and would be okay to play, but not against. i have played with min troops and max everything else and people hate it. give it a whirl a few times, but you want a jetbike heavy army, take more basic jetbikes. i resepect how you want it to be a certain way, but you have to think about the people you are against as well. The second list is much better IMHO. if you can, try taking 4 squads of 6 jetbikes. 2 cannons in each and have that flying around. but yeah, sorry if i seemed a bit harsh, i had no intention of seeming like that.
