Hi guys,
It makes a while I haven't had a look at the dark kins, but I got my hands on a bunch of guys for cheap and decided to build up a list. I'm actually warrior heavy, with 3 bikes and no vehicles. I made a list to go with it, as I don't want to spend a lot of money on a seventh (OMG I just counted...) army. I decided to make a Stand and Shoot list. First because I have no such army, and it is easy to make with what I have.

105 pts run that it does wonders for cheap(or make it an archon)

a note, I thought that you could only take warpbeasts if you had wyches(1 squad per whych squad) or that might have been updated in a faq... meh.
other than that i cant really agree with the list, DE is supposed to be fast and this looks really slow at first glance..., some raiders in there would be nice, maybe a squad of jetbikes for your archon to ride with?

Yes you need at least one squad of wyches to use the beasts. It is a decent starting list. You will need to get raiders though. But at least you can get the feel of them as a foot slogging army which I might add could be painful if you don't have alot of cover.

The raiders are for the Succubi squads. And you are right. I thought Warp Beasts were 0-1, but they are not.

Decent list, the upgrade for a warriors squad is a syberite btw. Also if those are the squads you are going to put in the raider they can have only 1 splinter cannon and one blaster in each squad. Additionally I don't think you can have a squad of 5 if it doesnt have a transport (10 minimum if it is a warriors entry and not a raider squad). You should always use raiders if possible, they are one of the strengths of our list.

With 5th ed, dedicated transports are taxis, no ?

So I buy a squad of 5 Raiders with a Dark lance and put the nasty 4 mega guns warrior squad in the Raider. Or can't I ?

yes you can but you can't start the game with another troops choice loaded other than the original raider squad for which the transport was bought for. You could load them up on turn 1 providing the raider is on the board.

just throw 9 whyches in a raider with the archon and get a turn 1 assault >.
