Starting a anti Marine DE army

Default Starting a anti Marine DE army

Well Dark Eldar have appealed to me recently mainly because of the look of the warriors and wyches and i was wondering what would i need in a anti marine army so could someone write up a 500 points anti-Marine list if so thanks
(off topic i think i could make a Talos with legs just buy a tomb spyder and somehow put the legs on the Talos' body

the idea with the legs and the talos sounds bad a**


to the army list being as how i play space marines and nowing a bit of the dark elder stuff i would bring

a dark elder lord with a power claw
hellions
reaver jet bikes
Warrior Squad(s) with dark lances
Scourges with splinter rifles
and a Raider

Here is my suggestion for a 500 point anti-marine list.
If you would care to specify exactly what kind of marines (e.g. space wolves or blood angels) then that would help, but for your regular smurfs, i suggest

Dracon w/ punisher, tormentor helm, combat drugs, animus vitae, shadow field
125 points

10 warriors w/ 2 dark lance
100 points

8 warriors
1 sybarite w/ agoniser
raider
153 points

1 ravager w/ 3 disintergrators

In the list you have the ravager, which you need to protect because it has a payload capable of taking out a squad of terminators (Trust me ive done it)

the dark lance warriors are for anti vehicle fire, or just general anti infantry fire.

The raider is used to first deploy the dracon into the heart of the enemy (if they are deployed favourably) before zipping off to punich someone somewhere else. Or to just deploy in one big bunch if you think the dracon might need some help.

And with his wargear, he could potentially be downing 5 space marines a turn on his own, and then running the rest over.

just plain ordinary Ultra Marines probably with a predator and the heavy weapons ones with plasma cannons and lascannons

I haven't had much success with Scourges. I find that they are rather on the fragile side. On the other hand they are very good anti-infantry, though not hardy enough in my opinion, for fighting space marines. Keep the Ravager it will pay for itself.

Shoot with the Dark lance warriors and the ravager, charge with the Dracon and the Raider squad. Simple =)

Take out the predator and the devastators, use the Ravager on the devs and the lances on the Predator. Then mop up the rest in close combat or otherwise.

Aside from coming to your game and playing it for you, that's pretty much all we can do =)

When deploying, deploy the ravager in an area where you know it can either get into range on first turn, but so that it can only see the unit its shooting at (so when you destroy the unit theres nothing to return fire)

The dark lance squad should be deployed somewhere in the centre of the board where they have a clear view of everything, or in some heavy cover (a ruin or such) so they can be the main firebase.

The lord (in the raider) should be deployed in such a way that you can leapfrog from one piece of terrain to the next before charging the enemy (make sure when you charge an enemy, that their is a back up place to move to, like cover or another squad to charge, so your not left in the open with a heavy shooting squad raining down doom and gloom upon you)
