Name: Lord of the Pit, Archon of the Kabal of the Flayed Soul
How long have you played 40K/ Dark Eldar: I've played 40k for about 3/4 years, and have been playing DE for about that time. I walked into Warhammer World and saw a girl playing with DE, and I saw the Hellion model, and I thought "Hey, that looks cool" and, you see the point.
Your geographic location: Portugal.
Cabal Name: Kabal of the Flayed Soul
Typically employed units: Raider Squads, Reaver Jetbikes, Ravagers
Least employed units: Talos, Scourges, Hellions
HQ of choice: Lord (Archon)
Tactical/Strategic Strengths: I like facing Space Marines. It's so funny when my opponent says "You won't do any damage" and at the end of the fight there are no Marines left and my Lord os consolidating into another squad. ;D
Areas you'd like to improve: I'd like to improve at fighting Guard. They have so many models it's untrue!

Name: DAM (My initials)
How long have you played 40K/ Dark Eldar: 40K for 6 years; SM's for 2 years, Speed Freeks for 4 years, Dark Eldar for well over 20 minuets
Your geographic location: Kissimmee, Florida, USA (Home of Mickey Mouse)
Cabal Name: I call them - "Those that have no Name Yet"
Typically employed units: 4 @ 10 man Warrior squad w/2 DL 100pts ea & 1 Taloi 500pt army
Least employed units: Every thing else
HQ of choice: Archon (in theory)
Tactical/Strategic Strengths: In 500 pt games I let the Talos absorb all the incoming fire and let the f sniper squads concentrate on whole units or vehicles at a time
Areas you'd like to improve: Basic understanding of what I'm supposed to do with all these slaves and how to keep the space from crying like school girls when you let the Warp Beasts remove their Power Armor.

And some questions that might help:

1) Fill in the blank: I would love to use __WWP_____ in my Dark Eldar army, but would like to learn more on how to use them/it.

2) I am currently painting/modeling __Everything_____, and could use some feedback/advice.

3) Do you have a particular goal with your Dark Eldar army? Fast deadly fun

Thanks, DAM

Typically employed units: Raider squads, Reaver jetbikes, Incubi and Wyches
Least employed units: Scourges, Warp Beasts, Grotesques, Mandrakes
HQ of choice: Archon with Incubi
Tactical/Strategic Strengths: I love Space Marines because those armies do not stand a chance against my army. I bring the fight to my opponent before they know what just happened lol
Areas you'd like to improve: Horde Armies too many models

And some questions that might help:

1) Do you have a particular goal with your Dark Eldar army? raising awarness on the Dark Eldar. evryone thinks theyre a huge joke. I love proving them wrong every time lol

Name: Kwi'Kwag (kina orkish but its a take on Queequeg).
How long have you played 40K/ Dark Eldar:[/b] about four years
Your geographic location: San Jose, California USA
Cabal Name: Cult or the Crimson Moon, Coven of the Crimson Sun and Kabal of the Crimson Eclipse
Typically employed units: Lately, Coven units like talos, grotesques and Haemoculi but I play just about everything - Kroot Mercenaries as allies is probably the most.
Least employed units: Hellions and scourges have never interested me.
HQ of choice: Haemoculi, Lelith Hesperax and lastly Archons.
Tactical/Strategic Strengths: WWP, Kroot strategy and Covens.
Areas you'd like to improve: Staying competitive with veteran players - learning the different armies without having to use them.

And some questions that might help:

1) N/A

2) N/A

3) Do you have a particular goal with your Dark Eldar army? Themes, this is what drives me to play the game the most. Dark Eldar have special rules to capture prisoners and I feel its my duty to take slaves whenever possible. I really dont care for bastardized lists just for the win - I understand the need to be competitive especially against the store bully but I just don't have fun tailoring a list just to beat one guy.

So my latest binge is Coven lists which focus on taking slaves - pinning weapons, slave snares and sweeping advances. Sometimes I use kroot as this is an under-powered list and they pretty much eat the dead while the Coven take the living (an efficient symbiotic relationship). After all, slaves is the major form of commerce in Commorragh as long as Kabals need the slaves for their souls - So why not run slave raids in every game?

Name: Adam Huntley

How long have you played 40K/ Dark Eldar: 40K about 2 years/ Dark Eldar about a year

Your geographic location: Illinois

Cabal Name: Cant remember the name. Paint scheme is gold black and red.

Typically employed units: Lord with Incubi, Wyches, Warriors, Raiders and Ravagers

Least employed units: All other units not mentioned above

HQ of choice: Tooled up Archon with 5 Incubi relaxing in a Raider

Tactical/Strategic Strengths: I am comfortable against just about every army except Craftworld Eldar. My strategy is skimmer heavy with simple attrition. I try my best to adapt my strategies to the army I am facing. Like against Tau, get into CC ASAP. Against Tyranids, let them come to me and get the assault before they do. Against MEQ, out-maneuver and whittle away.

Areas you'd like to improve: I would like to learn how to deal with units that hide behind far off cover like basilisks or vibro cannons. Also how to be successful on a table with little to no terrain.

3) Do you have a particular goal with your Dark Eldar army? To display to others that the DE are an army to fear and respect and not to call pointy space elf pirates...

Name: MN (sorry don't give out my name, even on safe forums )

How long have you played 40K/ Dark Eldar: Dark Eldar less than 3 months

Your geographic location: Vancouver, B.C.

Cabal Name: haven't really thought about it.

Typically employed units: Mandrakes, Warriors, Jet bikes, Hellions, Raiders and Ravagers

Least employed units: Warp Beasts

HQ of choice: Wych lord.

Tactical/Strategic Strengths: I am so noob at this I don't so well against any army as of yet.

Areas you'd like to improve:
how to survive against Eldar and Tau specifically, since each of my friends play a different army, eventually I'd like to learn how to do decently well against all of them.
