Hey im starting Dark Eldar and so far only have a Raider that i won in raffle. Im kinda low on money right now and was thinking because i need to bit order everything i should only get things i absolutely need. I helped someone in the guard forum get a cheap 1000 pt list but im lost when it comes to Dark Eldar. I ve read the codex and checked the prices but i cant afford exactly what i want. So i was wondering if people could help me make a 1000 pt list using a battleforce my extra raider and maybe 100 dollars more.

Aright, so starting with a Raider, a Battleforce, and 90$:

Dark Eldar Codex: 15$

First think you notice the Battleforce is missing is an HQ.

Dark Eldar Lord: 12$

20 warriors isn’t enough for me, so I’d pick up an extra box:

Dark Eldar Warriors: 30$

57$ in we have:

5 Jetbikes
Lord
36 Warriors (the special weapons can be made from the sprues, no worries)
2 Raiders

So, looking at that, my list is pretty obvious to me:

Jetbike lord, tooled however you like it: ~150pts
2 raider squads : ~170 each
2 footslog squads: ~130 each
Jetbike squad: 156pts

Just as a rough estimate that’s 900 points. I’m a bit tired right now so I can’t do a full list, and it depends on what you’d want in it.

This is just the first list that came to me, by no means the best. But at battle force+60$, it might be one of the cheapest…

Throw in a talos and your done

Or a ravager, there both about $20 (not sure i am english so this is just bad rough estimation, it is probably more, but then again you dont have as much tax as us, so it might be less) but it shoudl bring you to the required target of 1000 points.

Alright a Ravager at $40 (i wish it were $20) and the warriors, lord (female), and codex will be about 100 dollars. I think im going to convert the ravager so it can be a raider and a ravager i saw a friend with that conversion.

The easiest way to do the Rav/Raider conversion is with some pins. Put pins in the side armor and the gunners. When you want a rav, put them in. When you want a raider, take them off :P

hey i was thinkin bout buying 3 of vects ravagers cuz of the extra bits. i mean i get 3 of him to make 3 hq's out of (helion, jetbike, and one on foot/throne.) then making the 3 ravagers/raider conversions. And getting bases for the 6 incubi and using them. Especially because those incubi have really cool cloaks. I just need to find a use for those slave girls.

Might think twice about that because the body is a bit strange. Look the bits over a bit more before you decide on it. Besides, that's ~40 or 50$ each...

well its 10 buks more for each but the incubi pay the difference so i dont really have a problem w/ that and i looked at the models i think i can do it.
