Default Quick question about the eldar farseer models.

(This is something my friend wants to know before he buys.)

Do the farseer models come with their heads attached? Or unattached... reason being is my mate would like to do a headswap.

Thanks

Which one?

The one with the spear pointing downwards has the head unattached but I think the one in the farseer and retinue box has the head attached although I'm not sure.

In addition, the farseer with 2 CCW also comes with head detached. Following this trend, I think therefore all are made this way.

And the one with the staff is different
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/ca...Id=prod1060021

Anywho, i imagine it is probably head unnattached like the others

Speaking of which... pose wise, my friend also wants to know if it's possible to make a farseer in a stationary pose, and unarmed. His reasoning being that these guys do go into battle, but lead, and not ''fight'' therefore dont nesecarily need a weapon. That and he thinks an unarmed but leading/powerful pose would be good

I suppose what you could do would be to get the spear guy, dont stick on the spear (is that seperate?) And put on a right arm of your choosing

Cheers guys!

As far as I've seen all Farseer heads are unattached (browsed through them in local store). However the swords are stuck on the arms. They are metal models so they only consist of 2 or 3 parts max. You could try using the Spearseer and take an arm from other models. Altough I don't know how good this would work.

If you (or your friend) is good with greenstuff you could try to make a custom one. Altough this might be a stretch. The warlocks could have unarmed right arms (but I doubt it). There aren't many lefties is WH40K, to put it that way.

Ah Tau Style.

Dont give him any wargear, just throw the best leader in any old millitary battle
But sir, He is a diplomatic leader.
Now...what id i JUST say?

Have you thought about making him out of other sprues? Perhaps the high elves has something which you may be able to utilise other options. I would suggest mayby part-swapping with banshees and harlequins and the like but IIRC Eldar are little better than DE when it comes to metal models :P
