The Rangers are to try and pin the enemy, letting my Farseer, Warlocks, and Jetbikes get close. The Fire Prism's job is to take out the enemy tanks, letting the rest of my troops get close. The warp Spiders are my moblie fighting force, getting into close combat as quickly as possible.

I'm afraid your army is a bit illegal, sadly. A Saimhann force can only ever have one Heavy Support choice.

That said, what's left doesn't look too bad, but the numbers are sorely lacking, even more so than in a normal Wind Host. I'd *definitely* recommend some foot sloggers, if only to help add bulk and reinforcement to the Spiders. Jet Bikes wouldn't be bad either, as you can get quite a few of them in a single squad.

As stands (illegal elements asdie), it has potential, but it needs a bit more in the numbers category. Such a list would be brutally unforgiving of mistakes, and one could see it shattered like a fine blade on stone. Give it another go!

I'm afraid it can only ever have one elites choice either, so I'm afraid some of those Warp Spiders will have to go.

I like the fact that you've swapped the shining spears for guardian jetbikes. I think the 'spears on their own without an exarch are a very huge waste of points. As you'll lose some points with the warp spiders think about using them to perhaps get some jetbike warlocks and perhaps upgrading some shuriken catapults to shuriken cannons.

I like the idea of using warp spiders - as they move fast they fit in nicely with Saim-Hann IMO.

I'm not to sure about the rangers. What I think would really be useful for you would be a squad of guardian defenders with a bright lance platform (and warlock with conceal.) A bright lance would be extra insurance against tanks because at the moment you only have one weapon which is anti tank and that will have trouble taking out really tough tanks such as landraiders...

As i havnt got my codex on hand i believe that in such a force, bikes become a troops choice do they not??
