I was just thinking about what Craftworld to do for my army a couple days ago. I chose Biel-Tan only because I like Aspect warriors. I was wondering what Craftworld everybody else played. ???

I play Altaioc like a crazy scary dude.* Rangers and Path-Finders...* Snipers out of the hidden.* Disruption table too!* Altaioc is probably one of the more surprising Craftworlds.* Able to disable your opponent off the bat and take free shots.
But Ulthwe and Biel-Tan are tied for most played. Iyanden may be dead last due to high prices.

I actually think that Ulthwe is the most popular Craftworld amongst Eldar gamers, probably because it is:
A) One of the cheapest (£/$ wise) B) The most 'Psychic' Craftworld, which is one of the things that tends to draw people to the Eldar in the first place. Biel-Tan seems to be the Craftworld that GW pushes as the favourite, but it's also extremely expensive (or has the potential to be at least - all those Aspect Warriors and Wave Serpents!) and the colour scheme is hard to pull off. Alaitoc is often regarded as the coolest, but it's playing style is suprisingly unpopular (perhaps because people who are drawn by the sniper-aspect of it are let down by the 'squads' of snipers?). Iyanden is far too expensive to be a mainstream army, money and points-wise. Saim-Hann has a similar problem, and can be a bit too restrictive for a lot of people.

But i didn't just do this to figure out how many players there are of every Craftworld, I also did thhis to figure out if anyone made their own Craftworld and to figure out why people like their Craftworld. I mean, there has to be some people who play the other Craftworlds.

I think a lot of people do go down that route, there are actually some great sites out there that people have created specifically for a Craftworld that they have created. I don't know the URL's but you could probably google for 'em.

You should check out Wargamers homemade Craftworld. I'd post the link if it weren't for this crappy computer.

My Craftworld is called Charon (It has to do with mythology, you know the boat that takes you to the land of the dead....anyway). Due to the meaning behind the name it seems quite morbid and similar to Ulthwe being near the EOT.
So I use Ulthwe rules.

Sounds good to me.
![]() My army is actually a specific clan within Ulthwe, called the clan of Yvien. (Hence the name RestaYvien )

My Craftworld...well....it is the Outcasts of the Biel-Tan. I play with the Biel-Tan rules, though. I am trying to think of a way I could use the rules of the Biel-Tan, but not have any green in it. It is a challenging project, but I am not sure it can be done...Do any of you know if it possible?

Hmm, well not having green is no problem at all, you can have any colours that you want.
Outcast Biel-Tan sounds strange to me though, seeing as most Eldar outcasts are either Exodites, Rangers or Pirates, they don't usually belong to their own Craftworld entirely.
