Default HQ - Master and Commander

So I have made this nice model of Eldar starship Mistress and Commander with Wraithdrone:

I know, it is not weary hard conversion, but in the simplicity is beauty, isn't it?
As my Fell-Ra Craftworld is starship heavy I often want to have a starship Captain as the HQ in scenarios, rather than Farseers or Autarchs (or Avatar.. heh). Now I have made some rules for this house HQ, but I'm not sure about the point cost.
The rules are:

Eldar Master and Commander

ws bs s t w i a ld sv
4 4 3 3 2 5 2 9 4+(i)

wargear:
- twinlinked shurican catapult (represented by that avenger catapult with optic)
- Wraithdrone (on the picture - made out of vehicle bitz):
ws 2 bs x s 3 t 5 w 1 i 4 a 1 ld x sv 4+
The Wraithdrone have twinlinked shurican catapults firing on Commanders target = makes Commanders catapult Assault 4 twinlinked.
Fallows drone rules in Tau codex
Wraithsight (if not passed it cannot fire that turn so Commanders catapult is A 2 tw as normal)
(why drone? think about it as some kind of mechanical parrot i already made the model anyway )
- 4+ shield (represented by that things on Mistress back)

special rules:
- Commander and the squad with him can deepstrike (teleport) on the battlefield from the reserves (ship).
- Orbital bombardment - Same as the bombardment of Space Marines Chapter Master but with Pulsar lance characteristics.

So as you can see it is kind of fragile character witch is not really made for battling on the ground face to face with enemy, but hapens to have this Cadillac parked on the orbit

How much points can this cost?

I like the paint scheme.

The rules are underwhelming really, so any reasonable price would easily get the okay from me.

For those stats, I'd say that 90 pts or so would be fair.

What are the Pulsar lances effects though? If that's the D strength weapon than I'd raise the price a bit, if it's just some fancy name for one of your lance weapons then I wouldn't mind it at the 90 pts like I said. Aka, if it's Bright Lance, I'm game.

A D strength weapon though would place the cost probably around 160 ish points to me for a lowball. Mainly because you can easily make those few points back with a single auto-penetrating +1 result attack on a vehicle, or melting through a horde of TEQ level threats...

Pulsar are not D, they are high strength (lascannon) heavy 2 lance with small blasts.

I'd say an even 100 pts then and call it done imo.

Two shots with Str 9 and Lance can still make your points back easily, but it's nothing to fear compared to what I thought it was (I thought you were using the Scorpions weapon).

Allright thanks.
I also think I will in the end give her also plasma and heywire grenades, power weapon (that short sword of dire avengers) and ability to use her catapult as pistol to give her some more credibility and fit her better into squad of storm guardians. You need some nice close combat ability when you are fighting on board of a ship anyway.

Take it into little more detail - how would you "point out" character itself, his wargear and special abilities separately?

Thanks again for your help guys

Oh and for these who like the scheme, you can make it as fallows:

Body:
- Mordian blue all over
- Enchanted blue on plates
- Ice blue on these blebs on armor
- Asurmen blue wash all over
- Enchanted blue drybrush
- Ice blue drybrush
- full Ice blue on blebs

(Washed Mordian blue gives you Necron abyss and washed Enchanted blue is the same as Regal blue so you can use these for fixing draw overs.)

Helmet and gun:
- Dheneb stone all over
- Bleached bone all over
- Griphenne sepia wash all over
- Bleached bone highlight (but not drybrush - that doesn't work well)
- Face is Necron abyss
- Eyes are Mithril silver

The whole scheme is inspired by the blue and white feathered birds of Eldar myth who guide the Eldar southward and westward over the seas. (BFG Doom of the Eldar supplement)

You do realize that points would have to be re-figured if you added all that right? :P

Part of why she was o cheap was her (relatively) poor CC abilities.

an extra 30ish point would cover it, i would be happy to face that character, unless by "that short sword the avengers use" you mean a Dire Sword in that case you need more points again.

Hey, I realise that clearly - that's why I'm asking for points for each of her/his wargear and abilities now - As I want to know, and I don't know, how much are certain abilities valued in 40k in these times. I know it is not easy - and it is even not that much important as it depends more on opinion of my near gamers than anything else. But certainly not easy. Games Workshop does not have it easy with these point costs as would many gamers suggest - after battle is everyone general. 100 points here, plus 30 points there. That's fine and I'm glad for every opinion, but maybe going little more deep would give us (me) little more in depth for how does point costing work in these days. +30 points for pack of grenades and power weapon with pistol for wp4 s3 a2 i5 character - well may be, but that are two Banshees also - I'm not convinced.
And of course this is not Dire Sword man I'm trying to make this character valuable/credible without making him exarch-like.
130 points - it can easily be - but I would like to know exactly why
Again thanks much

fair enough, you mentioned haywire grenades, which are quite capable of taking out a vehicle, from a rhino to a monolith, yes its only one, but it could very easily prevent a tank from fireing, thats gotta be worth something. as for "grenades" im assuming you mean defensive grenades? they are usually free theses days in the new 'dexs. the powersword is a powerful item, combined with I5 and WS4 you will probably kill a marine or even terminator in CC before they get to attack, and combined with some other capable CC units will make him/her, quite the swords-person.

hope thats a bit better for you.

anything else just ask.
