Default Vehicle Weaponry

I just wanted to know how people tend to kit out their Falcons, Wave Serpents, War Walkers, and Wraithlords. There are alot of weapons options to go around, and upon seeing that the Wave Serpent with TL Bright Lances makes a better tank hunter than the Falcon ??? I just had to see how other people go about arming their vehicles.

I'll start off:
Falcon with Shurikien Cannon, Starcannon, and Pulse Laser (7-9 shots at 12". Yummy.)
Wave Serpent with Shuriken Cannon and TL Bright Lances

My Wave serpent also has twinlinked bright lances to make full use of the twinlinked rule. It also has a shuriken cannon.

My wraithlord(s) has a starcannon - and becomes a great power armour killer!

I tend to give Wraithlords the shorter ranged weapons on the rare occasion that I actually use one, because they are going to be heading into combat anyway, and they can get close without having to worry too much due to their high toughness and good save.

Vypers I tend to give longer ranged weapons such as EML's or Starcannons so they don't have to get close.

Falcons and WS's I equip with weapons that will best benefit the squad that they carry.
I.e.
My Falcon carries 6 Howling Banshees so I give it a Scatter Laser to help deal with any larger weaker squads that would bog them down in combat, whereas my Wave Serpent transports my Wraithguard (desinged to be extremely viscious against enemy armour) and so is equipped with Twin-Linked Bright Lances to add to the squads anti-armour effectiveness. As stated before it's also good to take advantage of the twin-linked rule.

I forgot about vypers. I have two and I usually give one a starcannon and one an EMS although I'll probably give both an EMS in the future. However I am reluctant in some ways to do so because the EMS is a one shot weapon - and on the vyper it'll miss half the time. Starcannons are safer in some ways because you can be sure that at least one will hit.

Yeah. I find it stange that only Ordnance scatters, I think all blast weapons should scatter if they miss. :P

I kit out my War Walkers with EML and BL with a Farseer backing them up with Guide, OH YEA!!!

I'd suggest guided Missile Launchers for a savage missile barraging unit.
3 War Walkers, six blast templates a turn (or six Str 8 shots per turn)...ouch.

i've got my falcon w/ starcannon, 2 different WLs that i hardly ever use at the same time but one has a SC the other a BL, vypers have SCs.

I personally avoid the over-abused Starcannons and Bright Lances for the most part. Shuriken Cannons rock, especially against hoard armies, and a squadron of Vypers armed with two of them can cause serious carnage.

always nice to have that handy dandy AP2 by your side. you can't always rely on an opponent to fail his saves. plus, if something works, stick w/ it, you know?
