Default Harlequins, individual codex or combine?

I was just wondering for those who care about the Harlequin, what do you think will happen to them? Will they get their own codex, combine with Exodites and Dark Eldar, combine with the Eldar codex, or just not even get one? whats your opinion on them and getting their own and i dont want any rumors or any "he said she said" bull crap.

The Harlequin list is currently in testing, eventually it will be a full codex of it's own. You can find the experimental version on the GW site.

that "experimental" version has been out for years...personally i dont think they've been doing any development on harlequins whatsoever and if they ever decide to, it will be when they redo the eldar codex. my guess is that when they redo eldar they'll make harlequins and exodites playable "sub-chapters" of sorts. that would make a big codex so they'll probably split them up but at this point, your guess is as good as mine...

they're reasonably good. the entire army consists of extremely small squads, one available vehicle, and their basic troops have WS 5 and In 6. also, the entire army has special holo-belts that give them a 4+ cover save but they have NO armor save in close combat. they rely strongly on rushing forward with Fleet of Foot and charging. they win combat by swiftly killing whatever they are facing as soon as they can, and excel in running opponents down in sweeping advances because of their masks which cause all enemies in combat to have -1 Ld. all in all they're very odd, and are fairly easy to start playing because of the low number of models...just expect to lose a lot to marines, or any army that can outnumber you in either models or bullets for that matter.

They're a good challenge and they have the advantages IDon'tPlayTau said - but they are very difficult to play with and use effectively. I'm hoping that GW combines them into the Eldar codex when they redo it but as far as I know nothing's been said about it.

Here's where they can currently be found.

well the scenario are the new rules for the harlequins (that they covered) but all of them now have a 5+ invulnerable save at all times and count as being in cover. the harlequin mask now takes -2 instead of a -1 also which will hurt others. harlequins have a problem with SMs though because they cant kill them by overrunning them. ever since the EoT though they really havnt made much progress.

This is the list I've used for a while now, and it seems to be a lot better than that crap GW one (especially against the inevitable T4 3+Sv armies...).

Thats great Wargamer! its good to hear that others from other sites, enspecially mods, use the list. Rasmus and the EO/40Konline crew have done a great job and the list is in its last stages (hopefully).
im still hoping for the individual codex for harlequins but anything official would be nice.
