Default Farseer Powers

At what point in your turn do you use a farseers non attacking psychic powers (Doom, Guide, etc)? Before moving? After moving? in the shooting phase?

Not true. Some are used at the beginning of the turn. Some are Shooting Phase powers. But it specifies in the codex.

I thought they all were at the Shooting Phase, but I know Em isn't clueless (far from it) so I'm gonna check now...

But there are some that are used on the Shooting Phase that aren't Shooting attacks, right? IIRC Doom specifically, because it doesn't need LoS and doesn't actually cause wounds.

The only one's that are used in the shooting phase are the actual shooting attacks, i.e. Mindwar and Eldritch Storm. Everything else is used at the beginning of the turn.

So a Farseer can cast Fortune on himself (and any Warlocks) and then Turbo-boost?

Deris is correct. Fortune, Doom, Guide are cast at the start of the turn before any movement. Mindwar and eldritch storm are cast in the shooting phase.

You can't cast any psychic powres that require a psychic test when turbo-boosting. It actually says for turbo-boosting you can't do any voluntary actions other than movement, which would include any psychic powers. I know they are done before movement, but it says any voluntary actions....
