Default Critique my 1000 points of Saim Hann

Just got back into warhammer and have been converting tons of jetbike and the like, and I am getting ready for a couple newbie training games at 1k points.



Farseer- Jetbike,Guide,Mindwar, Singing Spear.



2x 3 Jetbikes /w/ 1 Shuricannon
Warlock on Jetbike- Singing Spear, Conceal


3x Vyper /w/ Starcannon

1x Vyper /w/ Brightlance

Falcon-Starcannon, Holofield, Spirit Stones, Crystal Targeting Matrix

1,001 points


What do you think? I am using the jetbike squads to harass and annoy with some durabliity and minor tank hunting with the Warlock. The vypers are there mainly as anti troop forces and some other tank hunting although I am thinking about moving them all toe starcannons, The Falcon is just a beast of a gunboat and I think my farseer will be able to help out alot zooming around guiding people and using mindwar to kill IC's

Comments, suggestions?

Ok...here's what I would do:

I see that you're using a lot of armour value units - the vypers and the falcon. I personally think that the large numbers of vypers are a waste in this small points cost. They take up a lot of points and due to their weak armour, the open topped rule and the fact that you haven't given them any upgrades - they'll die very quickly wasting the points.

Therefore I would take away two of the vypers (the bright lance and one of the starcannon ones. I would then use the saved points to field four more jetbikes making 5 in each squad (six if you count the warlock. I would then also replace the starcannon on the falcon with a brightlance and make that your main anti tank/ anti tough squads unit - as it will the be able to fire up to four shots (minimum of two) very high strength shots per turn - and if you have the farseer guiding them...

Yeah, even in samll points games Vypers usually get knocked off easially. Get rid of the bright lance; in small games you won't be seeing any Land Raiders.

plus with the lone lance vyper people are going to go gunnin for it. other than that i agree with what they said.

Yeah but I want to keep the army fast, and I can still move 12' and fire my pulse laser and my starcannon as a defensive as it is str 6. I might bump up the jetbike squads, just worried about going agianst marines and not having any AP.

i usually worry about the opponent armor values.
