Default Spiritseers

What is the point of them? Why (in an Iyanden army) should they be used as they seem rather like a waste of points compared to ordinary warlocks....

Thx for asking my question.

Spiritseers are beasts. Better leadership, Ghost voice, better upgrades. What's not to like?

What better uprades are you reffering to? Better leadership? how does that benefit anything? They're in a WG squad and WG are fearless. As I've mentioned in your army list post ghost voice isn't worth diddly.

Dude, stop looking at the small thing and look at the big one.* Maybe you don't want a warlock in your WG troop, so you invest eight points into a Spiritseer, and you put it in your guardian squad cause it'll need the Conceal more.* So keep your WG within at least six inches of it and it won't need the Spiritsight test.

Btw, it doesn't NEED to be in a WG unit, it's an INDEPENDENT CHARACTER.

Actually, it's not. Go read a Chapter Approved book. They've revoked the IC status, and now it must go with a Wraithguard squad, meaning that there's really no benefiet.

Yeah, but this way you have to pay points for the "upgrade". Of course, with Sonic Blasters, you're worse off for free, but still, at least you aren't paying points.

lmao ya your right but its the same concept.

A champlain can replace his weapon with a powerfist and techincally it wont make him worse just less effective for his previous cost.

Perhaps the ld breakdown adds +6% chance of passing a test or something who knows.

Whatever it is it isn't worth the extra points. If ever I use Iyanden I think I'll just choose warlocks...
