Default Iyanden Army - 1000

Now that he's figured he can paint it with a different color scheme, now for the army list

1) Iyanden are met to be slow

2) NO Avatar. They are already fearless.

3)Get a Farseer.

4) The Wraithguard need a Warlock/Spirit seer or they just stand around doing nothing.

5) to many wraithguard, make it 5 for each squad for now.

6) i would get rid of the second Wraithlord. IN 1000 pts its toast.

7) Get some Guardians/ Dire Avengers. You need the numbers.

8) Need some ranged weapons, Tau and Guard will eat you alive.

Which is a big risk as that will be a huge chunk of the army standing around doing nothing.

I'd also suggest a farseer, probably with fortune and a Singing Spear.

I'd also mix up the weapons on the Wraithlords, i find Scatterlasers for to unpredictable but thats just my opinion on that. To be honest i'd pick 1 Shuri. Cannon as you will be closing so range isnt an issue plus it has a good AP and it will save you some points to go towards Spiritseers.

Definately take warlocks, conceal is essential to wraithguard that are hoofin it.

I have a related question, what is the point of spirit seers? the only point I can see is to save some points by keeping your WG squads close together so only one of them has a warlock,(spirit seer) but that seems hardly worth it, and then many of your WG wouldn't have psychic powers to aid them... is there some rule I'm missing or something?

don't you need to take one farseer for every five warlocks?

If he gets a Farseer that shouldn't be a problem

Avatars have no place in small Iyanden armies....

That's 989 points, it gives the Wraithlord and it's Warlock assistant an extremely fast way to move around. Add in a Guardian Squad. How does that look to y'all?

Am I right in assuming that your serpants have no upgrades/weapon modifications?

And I would replace the scatter laser on the wraithlord with a starcannon or brightlance.

Ok, it's 999 points on the dot, I think.* I think it's a well balanced list.* But that's My opinion

EDIT: would I be able to use a Falcon tank in place for a Wave Serpent?
