Default The Vibro Cannon and Shadow Weaver

Does anyone use them or is the D-cannon more popular?

I use two D-Cannons at present.

The Shadow Weavers are ok, but I think they should use the ordnance template because they are so weak (and Eldar don't have any ordnance at the moment :.)

Vibro Cannon's rule, I might get some once I've got my third D-Cannon. 8)

I love vibro cannons (especially once they're within range of a vehicle >) although they are a little too unreliable hitting wise for my liking (only hit 50% of the time) . I'm not sure about shadow weaver being ordnance (the D cannon should be ordinance > >) but it should have an ap value of about 4 IMO.

It seems that you shouldn't just take 1 shadow weaver or one vibro cannon. If you're going to take them you should take three of one of them.

yep, it looks a lot neater as well! If you want to achieve a specific goal with a unit of weapon batteries then making them all the same greatly imporves your chance of doing that, while mixing and matching (remeber they are only BS3) may prepare you for different uses, but not the same reliability of accomplishing a task that all three fo the same would give you,

That's why taking vibro cannons is very risky - as it will either work brilliantly or just be a complete waste of points...

well when you take three in a squad there is a much higher chance that you will get your job done, that why although it might seem ncie to mix and match your weapons batteries in one squad, its probably better to take 3of a kind to compliment the rest f your army, rather than trying to cover all bases with 3 BS 3 weapons.
