Do you always take an Exarch?
Do you equip your Exarch with the best wargear available? Do you take all the Exarch powers? Do you have a specific combo for an army type? Do you even use Aspect Warriors? Hunter out? |

I use Banshees quite often, whenever I come against Space Marines! I give the Exarch an Executioner (+2 to strength) and the skill 'Acrobatic' , this lets me get to grips with any important models in the squad and deal with them straight away ;D

This makes sense, these guys are really designed to take down marines.
So you tend to go with a moderate level of tooling up on your aspects? Anyone else out there use aspects? I like to take a Wysiwyg Scoripon Exarch (new model) with Steallth, he's already strong enough with the powerfist so I don't need crushing blow. Hunter out. |

Yeah, I give them what they need to do the job I have in mind for them in a particular battle, no more, no less. It's pointless giving them everything because thats going to waste quite a few points in most games...

So you create each army list for each battle?
How about if you were going to do a tournament force? Wide variety of opponents, wide variety of missions. |

I mainly use Banshees too, same combo of stuff as Restayvien on my Exarchs, but this tends to stay the same.
As for my Fire Dragon Exarch, firepike, burning fist and tank hunter (this guy nearly aways gets into at least one combat so burning fist is a must for me!) My Scorpion, standard power fist/stealth combo. As for my experiments with Warp spiders, they didn't really work for me, I used to tend to leave them out on a limb and played them far too cautiously. So eventually I gave up on them, I couldn't find the balance for my army between harashing and assault. |

Nice badge. I hope you aren't wearing them at the same time.
The new scorpion exarch model has a Shuriken pistol and Scorpions claw, although the biting blade can be useful, try against an Archon with shadowfield, I find the strength 8 attacks to be better. Thats what I mean by WYSIWYG. |
